I happened to come across this site looking up information on people of mixed african-american and american indian descent and stumbled upon your commentary on the Cherokee. Originally i took offense (being part Cherokee) and believed your words were those of an obnoxious white man until i read your biography. Incidentally we may be distantly related in that my mother is also a Piscataway Conoy Indian with the surname Newman. Anyway...over time i found your posts to become more tolerable and eventually outright hilarious and even related to several of your shared experiences. Of course good things can never last forever, however I am glad to have discovered this site when i did. Perhaps I'll meet you in person at the next powwow or seasonal festival.
