F*ck McCain. That was as polite as I could put it.

Knatural(13:48:48) :
Seriously, what’s up with Arizona. They don’t want to observe MLK Day, Daylight Saving Time, affirmative action. They should just secede and be done with it. We have too many states anyway.
And John McCain is a ree ree.
Here they go complaining about how affirmative action isn’t fair to them. Affirmative action in general turns a school, or a contract from 100% YT to 98% YT and that’s somehow unfair to them.
Joseph Phillips probably doesn’t believe in affirmative action even though he was only on the Cosby Show because he was black… Has he been in anything else…
29072008
Mr. Smith(14:13:39) :
Maybe if there weren’t such an overwhelming number of white people in this country then maybe we wouldnt need affirmative action. Seriously, 43 consecutive white presidents, no 400 years of slavery on their record, they can walk anywhere in this topsy turvy country without having their life threatened just because of their color (maybe white blonde women because they have boobies) and aren’t associated as your color = uneducated, ignorant, aspirations of pro sports and/or rap.
Seriously, shove it McCain. Yeah I know about the whole POW thing, and this maybe the most inconsiderate thing someone says on this site (bwa ha ha) but I don’t care, it happened over 40 years ago, stop using it as a sympathy ladder to gain support for your crusty, racist ass.
Actually vietnam vets have been the hardest on McCain being a prisoner.
They’ve said:
He talked.
Got Special treatment.
The best one was that knowing the weaponry used and his jets capabilities…it was his fault he got shot down.
Well there you go, fuck McCain. He’s going to lose to a black man.
“United” States, that’s a joke in itself. There’s probably going to be the biggest white turn out ever this election
29072008
Cola(14:25:12) :
This doesn’t surprise me! The man is an asshole. Period!
Also from living in Arizona during the time that the State didn’t recgonize the Holiday most places did including the school system. Just a lil FYI and no I am not sticking up for that jerk McCain.
29072008
Knatural(14:27:33) :
Damn. John McCain will be 72 next month! That’s one stale cracker.
Mr. Smith, I believe Obama will win. Americas are stupid, but I’m optimistic that we aren’t THAT stupid to elect a repeat of Shrub.
29072008
ayo(14:28:06) :
Honestly, I am actually concerned about the election and Barak winning. My Mom said, “It’s going to be a different situation when people get to the polls and close that curtain.” Its all love now, and Mr. O is the de facto President, but who knows whats going to happen when the cracka ass crackas actually vote.
John McCain bringing up Affirmative action is just code for “you do remember he’s black right…”
29072008
Lindsay(14:32:24) :
“That’s one stale cracker.”
HA!
29072008
Mr. Smith(14:35:38) :
Knatural and ayo,
Thats exactly what I’m talking about. People talk big and are all smiles in public. But you know as well as I do that behind closed doors, more people are racist than you think. Many voters will show up and exercise their right to vote just so a black man isn’t in the Oval office, for no other reason than being black. The last thing this country needs is Bush 3.0 and I’m sorry, but I’m not down for being sent to Iraq/Iran/evil-Korea/China/Israel/Mexico/wherever the hell else we’re invading in 2 years if cracker ass McCain is president.
My father has a theory that he suffers from dementia. He says so many different things that he doesn’t even remember what he says. If you ever notice, when he speaks in public he always has to have someone stand beside him to feed him the answers or make sure he doesn’t say anything too absurd. The dude is losing it slowly. And I didn’t know when he gets frustrated or angry that he has gotten to actual “physical” fights with people. That right there screams “dementia”. And lets not even go into the new bit of “skin cancer” that they are trying to play off like it’s a random mole.
This latest statement doesn’t really shock me. You expect crazy people to say crazy things. The shock is that Republicans keep pulling stuff out of there asses to continue supporting this man. They know they are stuck and they know they are screwed but they keep going like that damn energizer bunny.
29072008
Jo(14:41:29) :
@Knat: I don’t know, now. We elected for a second helping of George “Yale is for Ree Rees Too” W. Bush.
Someone theorize (and was told they were unpatriotic) that he has been affected by his being a prisoner. He spent so much time in solitary that he was living in his own world in his head…they said he used to get mad at the soldiers that brought him food for disturbing him.
29072008
Knatural(14:46:00) :
Everytime I see John McCain, I think of that scene in Indiana Jones: Last Crusade when the Nazi dude chose the wrong Holy Grail, and he began to rapidly age and then die and turn to dust. That’s John McCain. John McCain farts dust.
29072008
Laurel(14:47:19) :
This election is one of the biggest defining moments for this country. If Americans can honestly look at how bad things are now — the economy, wars, bad foreign relations, etc. — and elect John McCain simply because they don’t want a bi-racial man in the white house then this country deserves whatever the hell it gets for the next eight years.
Next 8 years!?!? Don’t even speak of such a nightmare as a reality!
29072008
Jen(14:54:16) :
This man cannot be elected. There is no way. I keep telling people the parties conspired to get Obama elected by ensuring that he ran against the most unelectable presidential candidate since Bob Dole.
29072008
Queen2B(14:55:53) :
That would be John McCain and his second wife Cindy. He started banging her when he was still married to wife #1 who was hanging on by a thread after her near fatal car accident and married Cindy less than a month after his divorce was final. Cindy of course did a stint in rehab and escaped jail for stealing drugs from her own charity but the people that busted her got into serious trouble. They are the American dream.
America is stubborn after voting for George (i got a 600 on my SATs and went to Yale but Affirmative Action is Unfair) W. Bush Jr. twice then I put nothing past them…
Obviously, McCain didn’t see Black In America! Anyone who did should be giving 10% of their monthly salary to help the Black plight.
29072008
ayo(14:59:03) :
If John McCain chooses Romney as his running mate, Obama has 99 problems and McCain aint one. Romney has dough for DAYS, son! AND the conservatives love him AND!!! they think he’s handsome AND they are going to pray that McCain just fades to dust (thanks Knat) so they can get who they REALLY want in office. Word to your mother.
29072008
Jen(14:59:39) :
At least Dubya has personality and is from a real state. John McCain is not even a little likeable.
Actually I feel sorry for Obama if he does get elected. Over 400 billion defecit…stuck in a war…economy sucks. Most elected officals never get the credit of their time in office…they get credit or blame for what the last guy left for them.
29072008
Jo(15:04:18) :
Does anyone else instinctively hear “Giggity giggity” when they see Dubya do that head bob thing during a speech?
29072008
Jen(15:07:48) :
The country needs a fall guy for the imapct of a resolution in Iraq/the impending hell that the Arab world is about to let loose on America. This can only end in tears. It would be ugly no matter who was elected. I feel like somebody thought there would be no better time to throw a woman or Black person under the bus. And that we’d all be so excited about what was happening that we wouldn’t care why it was. I just can’t imagine wanting to walk into the forthcoming presidential term.
How about I didn’t know there was a post yesterday.
29072008
Mr. Smith(15:12:47) :
I am praying for change. McCain isn’t going to do anything for this country’s benefit. Our rich are too rich, the poor have no room for movement… Gas is too damn high, and I don’t even want to get to tax cuts. We need to just say fuck baby seals and drill our own damn oil
The real problem is: Republicans will tow the damn line. Nothing is more rare then someone who calls them self republican and can say…”yeah that was a bad idea on our part.”
29072008
Laurel(15:17:59) :
Maybe I’m just naive but I truly believe that things can and will change for the better over the next decade or so — but only with the right leadership. We’ve been through recessions before. And I think things can be stabilized in Iraq/Afghanistan with good diplomacy and keeping our hands out of the tribal/sectarian warfare. Once GWB is gone Iran will become less of a problem — well, maybe not for Israel. But still. I have *hope.*
If Repubs get the white house this fall then it’s over. If a Democrat can’t be elected in this climate then there’s absolutely no reason for the Democratic party to even exist anymore.
If the Republicans get the White House in November someone will have to commit me.
29072008
Irami(15:27:46) :
Before you guys jump on McCain, have you heard Obama open his yap about Affirmative Action. There is something deeply dubious about that vague way Obama talks about a whole host of issues, including Affirmative Action, and I think everyone just projects their views upon him. McCain may be a bit crotchety, but I have an easier time trusting him. I get a serious Bill Clinton vibe off of Obama, and not in a good way.
29072008
Rosie(15:27:54) :
Why is this surprising? McCain has already shown he is willing to do or say whatever it takes to become president.
I actually find the affirmative action flip-flop less disturbing (because I expect Republicans to do shit like this) than the fact that he a) doesn’t seem to have a clear grasp on the underlying issues in Iraq, even though he served in the military for years, b) admitted he doesn’t know anything about economics, and c) DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO USE THE INTERNET. Can you imagine Eisenhower running for office 50 years ago and saying “oh, I don’t know how cars work” back when GM was one of the country’s largest and most important companies? I hope the Google guys FUNNEL money to Obama to keep this idiot out of office.
29072008
Jen(15:30:51) :
Irami, I don’t trust him, either. I am only voting for him because McCain is evil and my grandma wants a Black president.
That’s like when people said, “obama hasn’t said anything about the Jena 6″
White people are already scared, what he’s doing is the equivalent of putting his hands on the steering wheel, after pulling out his license and registration before the officer gets to the car. When he does get there he’s going to be very polite.
29072008
Jo(15:34:16) :
@Irami: didn’t Obama said that he was “for affirmative action, as long as properly executed”? True, a lot of his views seem vague, but I think that part of that comes from a desire to learn more about an issue before giving a definite opinion. Maybe this shows a flaw in that Obama seems to still have a lot of learning to do. On the other hand, I’m comforted that he’s willing to do that learning. Gen. Petraes said he got the feeling that Obama took everything he said into account and consideration during their talks. Truth be told, I’d rather have a president who is a little underqualified but a willing and quick study, rather than some old man basing his qualifications on his age.
29072008
ayo(15:36:52) :
Yo, Obama is not going to be perfect in office. He is going to have to shuffle a lot of bullshyt. He is going to have to eat crow. He is going to make decisions that make everyone mad. He is going to do some shyt that he said he wasnt going to do. And basically I dont give a f*ck. I get sick of all these mo-fos talking about Obama and how he flip flops and shyt. Hes a F*CKING politician! Get used to that sh*t. They lie, and f*ck as a general rule. No-f*cking duh!!!! For all of the asswipes that get on their high horses Shut the F*CK UP! Im sick of your reading arses! This dude represents repair for the image of the black man, and black family. He moves in moral fiber. He f*cking hoops! And has ALLLLLLL black kids. He worked in the community. Yall stupid f*ing Americans better get the f*ck on board, or get the F*ck of this damn blog Obama hating. We know the dude aint perfect. Its mostly all educated black folks here. If you wanna subscribe to some McCain bullsh*t then do so in the quiet of your damn home. I want my son to be able to see a man of color, with actual character attached to his namesake, in the f*cking white house, with a bad-ass BLACK wife with a law degree and a mind of her own and aspire to that s*hit. Thank you very f*cking much.
29072008

And for the record nobody should trust politicians.
omg we have had this convo over and over and over.
Im dying.
29072008
Irami(15:41:06) :
I don’t know about McCain being evil. McCain and I don’t agree, but he is not very good at pandering. Obama is the one who feels like a crook. I had a buddy who said there are two kinds of white people, the ones who said “No,” when they mean “No,” and the ones like Clinton who say “Yes” when they mean “No.” I think Obama is the second.

29072008
Rosie(15:43:01) :
@ Amadeo
I completely agree.
@ Irami
If Obama wins, I think he will be similar to Bill Clinton in that he will legislate from the center, but he is not going to make hard promises on policies (and definitely not race-related politicies) because he doesn’t want to tie himself to anything specific that will come back to haunt him when he tries to get it through Congress. Clinton got KILLED on gays in the military within the first few weeks of his presidency.
That said, hopefully there won’t be any intern, uh, “issues”.
29072008
Rosie(15:45:37) :
@ Irami
And then there are the third kind, who when asked a question say “huh?” (see Bush, George; McCain, John).
They are trying to turn Obama in to Sharpton and they throw out issues like these to do so… This is no different than that stupid question about Farrakhan in the middle of the debate when he had nothing to do with Farrakhan.
These issues need to be looked at in the context of both of the candidates and Obama is still the better one. Obama seems to waiver because he actually thinks about the topics in today’s time rather than being fed responses based on whatever Republicans think Reagan would’ve said.
It is not beyond the realm comprehension that in some areas that affirmative action can be flawed in how it is executed but the other guy wants to get rid of it completely.
for all the shit that is talked about african countries and their corrupted leaders, and how there is no democracy, i don’t see how it is different here. At least the african leader gangsta their way in in broad day light. They do the same here but in the under handed way. Distract ppl with unnecessary ingnorant bs while they rape their own country and ppl.

I think the problem is that what you see as Character, I see as the ability to win elections. Character, as discussed in the second chapter of Aristotle’s Poetics, concerns what a person would or would not do. For all his talk, do we really know what Obama would or would not do? Throwing Rev. Wright under a bus to get elected, after joining the church to get elected? Favoring an expansion of the death penality? I’d rather live in a world short of black role models than have our children aspire to be an opportunist coward.
29072008
ayo(15:56:15) :
Irami, still Dont give a F*ck about what your are talking about! And actually, your arse already lives in a world of short on black role models dumbass.
29072008
Jo(15:57:24) :
Irami, you’re right, properly executed could mean anything. But why are we so hung up on having definites from our presidential candidates when nothing in the future is promised? So what if Obama had a plan for everything, which he outlined in stunningly open and grammatically correct language during his campaign? What makes you think he (or any other candidate) would necessarily stick to that plan after election day?
@Irami – He separated from Rev. Wright after Wright blatantly insulted him on national television. As for joining the church to get elected; he joined over 20 years ago when the church wasn’t as large as it is today.
By the way all politicians are opportunistic and damn near all capitalists are opportunistic so that is neither here nor there in America.
properly executed = opposite of how the Iraq war was planned

McCain is dropping aff. action because he knows that, while he THOUGHT it was a valiant effort (and good PR) to speak to the NAACP, and support MLK day 50-11 yrs later, him pandering to Af. Am voters wasn’t going to get him anywhere. Now he’s free to give his attention to the right wing.
It’s been said for the longest time that, all of a sudden, everyone will decide that racism can’t possibly exist anymore, thus, aff. action is void, now that we have a black president.
And does anyone else agree that the govt. can save their ‘apologies’ for racism if that’s all that they’re offering as the consolation prize?
“For all his talk, do we really know what Obama would or would not do? ”
Do you know what any politic would do or wouldn’t do? wtf

Maybe if more people voted for Nader, it wouldn’t be that way.
Here are their positions on education:
Here is Nader’s position on education.
“The federal government must not impose an overemphasis on high-stakes standardized tests. Such testing has a negative impact on student learning, curriculum, and teaching by resulting in excessive time devoted to narrow test participation, de-enrichment of the curriculum, false accountability, equity and cultural bias, and excessive use of financial resources for testing, among other problems. Federal law should be transformed to one that supports teachers and students — from one that relies primarily on standardized tests and punishment. The government should encourage schools to infuse their curriculum with civic experiences that teaches students both how to connect classroom learning to the outside world and how to practice democracy.”
Obama’s:
“Reform No Child Left Behind: Obama will reform NCLB, which starts by funding the law. Obama believes teachers should not be forced to spend the academic year preparing students to fill in bubbles on standardized tests. He will improve the assessments used to track student progress to measure readiness for college and the workplace and improve student learning in a timely, individualized manner. Obama will also improve NCLB’s accountability system so that we are supporting schools that need improvement, rather than punishing them.
Make Math and Science Education a National Priority: Obama will recruit math and science degree graduates to the teaching profession and will support efforts to help these teachers learn from professionals in the field. He will also work to ensure that all children have access to a strong science curriculum at all grade levels.
Address the Dropout Crisis: Obama will address the dropout crisis by passing his legislation to provide funding to school districts to invest in intervention strategies in middle school – strategies such as personal academic plans, teaching teams, parent involvement, mentoring, intensive reading and math instruction, and extended learning time.”
Now which one sounds like more of the same, and which sounds like progressive vision for responsible citizenship?
29072008
ayo(16:07:13) :
Go ahead and vote for Nader. We read here. We know all about that sh*t. and still we DONT GIVE A F*CK.
Obama could say “i’m reforming NCLB by ensuring that all children have cookies and milk before they go home” and i’d vote for him… anything is better than what we have now.
fuck mc cain(old bitch). fuck republicans. fuck you i you like them.
29072008
B4Prez(16:16:08) :
I’m sorry, but at the end of the day, they can write all of the education reforms they want…and we’re still gonna have the same percentages passing and failing (outside of them completely dumbing down the exams, like in NY). The reason being is that the kids who go home to parents who make them do their homework will continue to pass, and the kids who go home and terrorize the neighborhood will continue to fail. I get tired of everyone always trying to blame teachers, when anyone who’s ever been to school (with the exception of those who went to very good private schools, possibly) knows there are just those bad azz kids who are gonna be bad at school as long as they get to be bad at home.
@ ayo… no one EVER gives a fuck about Nader…he’s like that lame person in the back of class… you know he’s there, but sometimes you forget, and when he says shit you be like “damn, i didn’t know he still went to school here!!!” LMAO
b4prez…. schools will reform when they start paying teachers better!!!!
payed teachers= happy teachers.
and they need to have teachers that can realte to the kids they’re teaching. Sally Sue don’t know shit abot what Ray-Ray and Kisha deal with when they go home.
Ya’ll calm down. Irami has a right to their opinion. I may not agree but I’m going to respectfully disagree.
You can waste your vote on Nadar if you want to. That is your choice. Nader may have some valid points but the REALITY is that Nader will NEVER get elected. Nader’s days are past and any vote for him is truly a wasted vote. You might as well just stay in the house on voting day.
Obama is a politican and more importantly a free-thinking human being. You may not like everything that he stands but you can stand by the majority of it. There is no way that man could come up with a complete and total plan to fix the country’s long standing problems in just a few months but what he has done is shown that he is off to a good start.
29072008
stuffblackpeoplehate(16:20:29) :
John McCain has spent inordinate amounts of time, money, and influence crafting his public image so that people like Irami would think exactly the way they do. There is a damn good reason that McCain’s personal character flaws – from his opportunistic departure from his first wife (and the associated affair) to his druggie wife – have gone suppressed for nearly the entire campaign.
You say you trust McCain, a man who cheated on his wife in her greatest moment of need…yet you won’t trust Obama because his joining of a black church was somehow ‘opportunistic’, and subsequent disowning of a pastor (which happened, by the way, because the guy simply wouldn’t shut the hell up)? REALLY!?!?!
You say McCain doesn’t pander when the dude is riding around on a giant fucking bus called THE STRAIGHT TALK EXPRESS and supports the complete and utter horseshit that is the federal gas tax holiday. Please, in the name of everything Holy, tell me you are joking.
Obama is a coward? An opportunist? HOW? And assuming he’s either one of these, how is he any moreso than the McCain you so adore? Are you on the RNC payroll or what?
As someone who works with young people and deals with schools what Obama is talking about is needed right now. Do you know what NCLB has done and how it operates…I’ve seen it and it sucks. Obama’s does not sound like more of the same…he’s actually addressing the problems with NCLB. Mean while Naders doesn’t say much and the thing he is most specific about is something Obama has been stressing in regards to everyone…civic engagment and public service.
29072008
stuffblackpeoplehate(16:27:54) :
So let me get this straight – you have the gall to call Obama’s AA policy vague because of a media soundbyte, then refer to this…
“The federal government must not impose an overemphasis on high-stakes standardized tests.
…as ‘progressive vision for responsible citizenship’??? Bashing NCLB, making a vague call to ‘support’ teachers and students, and pushing for more community service…is PROGRESSIVE? VISIONARY? REALLY/?!!?!?!?!
While sitting at work yesterday, this white guy who swears he is an independent..(this now the code for republicans who are embarrassed of George bush ) stated the Obama was nothing more than a puppet for DNC and that the reason MCcain cant win is because he is such an ‘independent” thinker and votes with his beliefs and not due to any political aspirations. According to him, republicans Hate Mccain and consider him a liberal..thats the only reason he will vote for him. I started to argue with him, then other dumb asses joined in, including some blacks. How the hell is this true and he won the nomination? But anyway, I cant wait to see if he brings this point up today.
29072008
Irami(16:30:49) :
McCain straight up says that him leaving his first wife has more to do him turning 40, and his own insecurities, than it had to do with her. If Obama said, “I joined the Church because Wright ran the biggest game in town and I wanted to be a player,” then we’d talk. And as to Wright not shutting up, it’s not Wright’s job to get Obama elected president. It’s Wright’s job to speak the truth, as he sees it, to all that will listen.
29072008
B4Prez(16:31:08) :
@4m : I agree about the fact that Mary Beth can’t relate to the LaQuisha, so she shouldn’t be trying to ‘get thru’ to her. However, with the pay issue, I think it would, more than anything, convince more ppl to become teachers, alleviating the other huge issue of over-sized classrooms. Once you have too many LaQuishas in one class, the odds are stacked against you as a teacher even if YOUR name is LaQuisha.
I just think too many teachers in this boat get a bad rap for 9:00-3:00, when everyone conveniently leaves out the realities of 3:00-9:00.
29072008
ayo(16:32:01) :
Irami + Nader = Pipe dream
Irami + Bob Johnson + Souldja Boy + Rev. Wright = Deserves an ass kicking line.
Saun… this situation right here, im not calm about. There is no middle ground. Surely she is entitled to the own opinion, but this lame is here talking about an insignificant candidate in favor of what… Im still confused.
“Mean while Naders doesn’t say much and the thing he is most specific about is something Obama has been stressing in regards to everyone…civic engagment and public service.”
Obama stresses civic engagment and public service when he talks to some, and Math and Science when he talks to others. You can’t have it both ways. Part of what it means to have priorities is to say, “This is more important than that. I don’t care if India and China are producing more engineers. Our job as Americans is to produce more, better people.”
29072008
ayo(16:35:36) :
There there, Ne. Irami is just a product of a white-washed self-loathing environment. Sh*t she probably loved “Black in America”.
When people wanted Obama to toss him he would not and he got bashed for it.
When Wright just kept talking…which hurt Obama more, he had to step away from him.
29072008
Jo(16:38:23) :
Come on now. Irami isn’t Creole, because all Creole cared about was how much prettier she was then everyone else here.
And Irami isn’t probably isn’t Joel Then because he was stuck on race.
Believe it or not, it’s possible that people who agree with you on one thing disagree on others. This is not news. Give the latter two credit where credit is due. Creole was just a hater. At least I and JT argue about pertinent crap.
“Obama stresses civic engagment and public service when he talks to some, and Math and Science when he talks to others. You can’t have it both ways.”
Wait…why not? Does that mean that when I say black people need help from the government to reverse the effects of institutionalized racism, I can’t also espouse that we work to lift ourselves up from the inside? Since when did the world become so black and white?
You can have it both ways when you tell everyone…no matter your age or title to get involved in public service. Then stress math and science in regards to education.
Since there are kids in school and people out of school it’s a pretty good strategy…especially since in some places (like MD) kids HAVE to have community service hours to graduate.
29072008
Rosie(16:42:34) :
@Irami
It sounds like your beef with Obama is that he is a politician. He is doing what most politicians who want to win do – moving to the middle. Which makes McCain’s shift the the right even more odd.
As for Nader, a career built on unwillingness to compromise is fine if you are on a crusade, but not if you are running for the White House. And frankly, we’ve seen a few too many crusaders running things the last eight years.
Finally, I agree that his treatment of one’s spouse says something about you as a person. Who leaves their wife in a near-death situation (well, besides Newt Gingrich)? Who calls his (new) wife a “cunt” in front of reporters? This isn’t limited to Republicans either: Bill Clinton’s history of lying and lack of personal loyalty was readily apparent in his treatment of his wife before he became president (and the same could be said for LBJ).

@Jo – It was sarcastic. I didn’t even mean THAT Creole, I was just cracking a joke about Creoles in general. You know Creoles don’t like ‘regla’ black, and Irami (I’m assuming for the sake of my joke he/she is black) could easily fall in line with the blacks who think it gives them 10 extra points to be extremely anti-Obama just so they don’t seem like they’re voting for him becus he’s black.
As for Joel Thien…*________….______* (this is what i get from his posts)
The reason that McCain doesn’t “believe in quotas” is because he’s afraid of his upcoming ass-kicking from Obama in the polls.
I wouldn’t expect male 2520′s to understand shit about AA simply because it’s anti-everything they are. Even when we had the MCRI march on the capital (2006..yes, I was there, in front, holding the big fucking banner), we had male 2520′s throwing rocks and hurling curse words at us. Of course, I put on my scary face and shut a few of them up. But PMS will do that to you.

Irami, you’re a fucking idiot that watches too much TV. Seriously stop buying into all the bullshit and realize out of all the rich bastards running this country, Obama is the only one that remotely gives a shit about any of us.
And making a statement about his “vagueness” on Affirmative Action and other black issues, realize that he’s running for president of the United States, not the United Black Confederation.

Americans aren’t voting for my preacher, they aren’t voting for my wife, and they aren’t voting for my kids. They are voting for me, now if you don’t mind, I think it’s about time we started talking about the economy.” And expect the America to grow the hell up, that’s leadership.
Oh by the way…McCain has lived on handouts…the son and grandson of admirals who graduated at the bottom of his class at Annapolis and while in the service as a pilot crashed 5 different planes yet still remained in the service…somone who’s father wasn’t currently a general would have been discharged for that.

@Shay – “According to him, republicans Hate Mccain and consider him a liberal..thats the only reason he will vote for him. I started to argue with him, then other dumb asses joined in, including some blacks. How the hell is this true and he won the nomination?”
That might have been true several years ago when McCain was, as Chris mentioned, trying to craft that image of the independent, free-thinker who was going to take the White House from the crazy libs. When he was roundly dismissed by conservatives in the 2000 election, I’m sure his reputation as being more to the left than other conservatives was something he realized he couldn’t maintain.
The problem (for McCain) is that Obama has such widespread appeal that McCain can’t spout wannabe centrist bullshit because the centrists will likely be swinging towards Obama. I don’t have proof, but I’d be willing to guess that McCain is now trying to employ an election strategy similar to that of Dubya in 2004 — that is, to pander to the staunch conservatives to get them to come out and vote en masse like in the last election.
As an aside, my husband is convinced that if McCain is elected, we will have to hide the Big Red Button because you can’t trust someone with POW flashbacks to be that close to making a big decision. We’ve already seen what happens when one tries to exact revenge on a country for more personal reasons (see: Dubya in Iraq). All we need is another Vietnam. As he says, “Any guy who spent 5 years in a bamboo cage has no business in the White House.”

I’d be lying through my teeth if I didn’t say that, if that happens, that right there would be enough for me. It’s been a while since who’s running the white house has had an affect on the common man.

We are in a sad day and age when individuals of poor moral character and ethics are the norm in politics. Leaders should set the standard in how citizens should conduct themselves. Putting McCain’s unimpressive political career aside, he is a man of poor character. McCain violated his marriage vows only to remarry a woman who has been guilty of drug abuse, money laundering, and being an adulteress. I’m disgusted that media outlets like Fox news are so quick to twist the words of Michelle Obama yet they have spoken nothing of the whore Cindy McCain who is trying to be First Lady. If Obama and Michelle traded places with the McCains they wouldn’t have even gotten nominated.
What’s even disturbing to me that people are actually supporting McCain after experiencing eight years of George Bush, potentially the worst president in US history who has managed to put the country deep in debt. His policies are almost identical to George Bush, yet ignorant Americans are voting for this man because of his skin privilege (i.e. being a white male). McCain is not in support of equal rights, doesn’t support giving minorities the opportunity to move up the socio-economic ladder, he has admitted that the economy, the BIGGEST FUCKING ISSUE IN THIS ELECTION, is not his expertise, and this man doesn’t have the charisma to work with other world leaders. Did I mention that his own political party expressed concerns about his temperament? Oh let’s not forget that he is okay with staying in Iraq for another 100 years to fight phantom terrorist and start a nuclear war in Iran.
Coming from someone who does have some conservative views on how the country should be run, I can’t put my support behind an individual whose policies will turn American into the largest third world country. If the idiots end up getting McCain into office, I hope they suffer the severe consequences of their vote. McCain will inevitably be the icing on the cake that will destroy America and all those xenophobic assholes in places like West Virginia can watch their jobs go overseas and have big corporations steal their pensions.

Between your double-spoken defenses of McCain’s and Nader’s character and policy, willingness to bend over backwards to believe anything they say, and the fact that you quoted Aristotle’s decidedly unprofound views on moral character – I’m going to go ahead and come to the conclusion that you are the worst type of non-conformist: the unoriginally ironic kind.
Your arguments against Obama and for the other candidates have no referential integrity whatsoever, and the worst part is – you know it. The only thing you really hate about Obama is the fact that he’s popular. Chances are you’re in the middle of your post-secondary education and have been subjected for some time to an environment where non-conformity is hip. This is where the irony comes in: in your attempt to be hip, you are becoming a conformist of a different kind – in your parlance, an opportunist.
Being a non-conformist and going anti-Obama gives you an opportunity to argue with people and quote Aristotle in an attempt to sound intelligent, but what you fail to realize is that you sound like a jackass because, for whatever reason, you found it necessary to quote a famous man for a definition that could’ve been found in a dictionary before he was even alive.
I have no problem with anyone arguing against Obama as long as their argument is thought out and can actually stand on two legs. But as it is, your conforming non-conformity is just…tiring.

I won’t take Jackson or Wright, because everytime either of them opens his mouth *I* have to answer for it. I’m tired of being represented by crabs threatening to cut off other men’s testicles. Damn, tired.
I do admit that a lot of my disgust has to do with the lust the black community has for Obama. The guy comes out for FISA and for expanding the death penalty to child molesters, and you all are still gone nuts for him. “You remember that high school kid who was serving jail time for receiving a blow-job from another high school kid. You really want a law that could be leverage that kid on to death row?”
Doesn’t that imply that you believe the boy would have gone to death row? It is clear that he shouldn’t be in jail. Your argument is what is unclear here.
And as the first eligible black candidate of the US, he has to try to be all things to all people, exactly because he’s black. The white men who preceded him didn’t have to prove that they were benevolent for all Americans ’cause it was understood that they represented the majority. As far as they were concerned, to hell with the minority vote. What’s good for white people would trickle down and be good for everyone else. And if it didn’t, who cared?
The reason Obama has to be all things to all people is because White people don’t believe he has their best interests at heart as well as those of blacks. He has to prove himself, just as any minority running would.
He is trying to be trancendent, all things to all people, candidate, and it’s working because he isn’t asking anyone to give up anything.
The president should be everyone’s president and should try to appeal to everyone…not just huddle in their little corner.
He’s the first person since Kennedy to emphasize public service.
What’s the next argument you want me to invalidate?

Amber(18:00:19) :
He obviously has not seen this. Tim Wise makes many valid points
Presidents have to attempt to be transcendent because they hav to apppeal to the widest electorate, the ENTIRE UNITED STATES, not just a city or a district or a state. What candidate didn’t try to appeal to everyone? At the RNC convention in 2000 it was like the ‘We are the World’ expo they had balck gospel singers, mariachi bands and all types of shit.
By the way pandering isn’t a bad word, it is simply trying to appeal to a group of people and who is going to be elected president to a majority white country without appealing to white people.

“By the way pandering isn’t a bad word, it is simply trying to appeal to a group of people and who is going to be elected president to a majority white country without appealing to white people.”
Pandering is an antiquated word for pimping. Trading on someone’s lowest desires in exchange for profit: Nixon’s Southern Strategy, McCain’s MLK vote, Obama’s ditching Wright, it’s all pandering. I don’t want the take home lesson for our generation to be that we should look to Barack Obama for cues on how to be just as cowardly as the next pol.
And yes, Obama has now killed public financing. Dead.

Sidebar, where do the educated go for a non-violent good time in Baltimore? Any thoughts, anyone?
*Stopped reading after Irami’s “death penalty leverage comment”*
…if you actually would have listened, the death penalty for child rapists was for repeat offenders, not first time convictions. They were also considering chemical castration (i.e. birth control for men that is semi-permanent).
You know…these fucking Doritos are good. Has anybody ever tried the jalapeno cheddar cheetos?
I’ve been Black In America for 24 years, and I have encountered many a Negro who didn’t 100% reflect my political views, but were still worthy of my respect and trust. Barack Obama is one of those people. I admire and appreciate who he is and his approach to change. I am a Black militant. He is not. Do I fault him for this? No! Do I think that because he doesn’t move how I move that he is not a potential beacon of light for this county? Of course not.
I understand that we expect more of Black politicians than we do White ones. The shared struggle. The complicated “you’re more than my XYZ, you’re my BROTHER” relationship. However, I feel that if Black people actually LISTENED to Obama’s words, read his platforms and didn’t let sound bites from a very biased media inform their thoughts, they would find in Obama a leader they can believe in.
Were Obama a White man, I would still support him. The fact that he is Black is icing on the cake. It’s a feel-good moment for Black people, a needed boost to our collective self-esteem. But it is NOT cause for us to see him as the second coming of Malcolm X. It’s wack to vote for Obama simply because he’s Black, but it’s even worse to saddle him with unreasonable expectations because he’s Black.
And with some info I know about Obama, but wouldn’t be fool enough to state publicly….just know, he’s one of US.
@ Shavonne: I only responded simply because I was able to take my aggressions out on this person without knocking the crap out of the IT guy who was going through my stuff this morning.

“Community service
better gas mileage
repealing Bush tax cuts
cutting spending in some areas
adn not bombing any country that looks at us sideways”
I was thinking more along the lines of “supporting public education means sending your kids to and working with your local public school,” “Move back to the city and closer to work, to ease congestion, consumption and pollution,” and telling Americans that being a superpower is not merely a matter of economic power, but a matter of moral concern, even if it means that we should, “we should make room for the second place trophy.”
@ Irami…sadly, trying to convince a materialistic country to become a minimalistic country is damn near impossible. Yes, we want to support our public schools, but from what i’ve seen, people are more and more turned off by it because of the government’s frivolous spending habits and improper allocation of funds.
As I stated before in a previous post for a different article, where I’m at, each school is allocated the same budget, without student body population and demographics (i.e. handicapped, learning disabilities) taken into account. I’m sure that Michigan is not the only state that has the same issue.
We can tell people all we want to support public education and inner cities and such, however, if the government isn’t taking the necessary steps to ensure the upkeep of these schools and inner city areas, people are not going to desire to support something less par when they can afford to be in a better off situation.
It wouldn’t hurt our leaders to take into account a few Marxist mentalities to improve the situations of those who are impoverished. (No, I am NOT saying adopt communism. I am saying be on the poor people’s side).
Power Plant live for cheap drinks with white folks…oops you said no violence.
Organic Soul @ Eden’s Lounge is cool for a tuesday night.
@ Irami
Yes he should stick with Wright no matter what. Like after I defend my friend who got sent up for attempt murder he didn’t commit and should then should keep defending him after he commits one. Wrights second act was attempted murder…he licked shots at Obamas political career…after Obama defended him.
@Irami – You keep bringing up Wright at first he stood up for Wright and didn’t throw him under the bus then Wright basically came back and said Obama was full of it at that point no self-respecting man wouldn’t leave that person alone. If anyone is full of it, it is Wright who basically shot Obama in the foot and is getting a book deal out of it…
Are you for or against John ( don’t get sick because I’ll bounce) McCain I’m confused?? So Nader and McCain don’t pander are you serious. I hate to say it but politicians have to pander because the general populace is retarded, they voted for the last guy because they thought they could have a beer with him and they believed his ‘born and raised in Conneticut, Yale attending ass is a cowboy’.
You have an issue with Obama over pandering but the people you support do the same thing, are there any real issues that you have a problem with Obama over? Hands down his plans are better than McCains and more realistic than Nader’s who couldn’t even get the Green Party nomination, and they aren’t vague if you take the time to read them.
“He is trying to be trancendent, all things to all people, candidate, and it’s working because he isn’t asking anyone to give up anything.”
And this a problem because??? Ever read the inscription on the plaque held in the arm of the Statue of Liberty? Probably not so here it is:
Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.
If this (the Statue) is one of the enduring symbols of America, considered the gateway to this country, and welcomes all people to this nation should not the leader of this nation (whomever that may be) make at least the effort to address the needs of all the people in the nation?
“Liberal whites like him because he doesn’t make them free bad about their white flight,”
Spelling error negates the point.
“blacks like him because he is black,”
And you know this because you did an in depth study and survey over a period of time of a multitude of “black people” using appropriate control factors, and such??? Somehow I don’t think that was the case.
“and immigrants like him because he proves the American dream, if you grow-up and pander to whites, you can be elected President.”
But wait.. wah gine on hey! Some rasshole picney gine unpick she teet an taulk bout immigrants like she is one? wha de hell is dis piece uh madness doh na? well my mummy sure di tell de truf when she say book learnin an sense can set horse cause miss lick mout mus ha a mighty lota smarts since she en gota lick a sense.
Read: As an “immigrant” my sensiblities are seriously offended by your ignorance. While you may pride yourself of being smart in the sense of being educated (if you even are which I question because if you were you would realise the fatal flaw in your argument which is that an immigrant would not think that by “pandering to whites” (tell me again how one does that?) they could grow up to become President because just about everyone (except obviously you) knows that you have to be a natural born citizen to become President. And if you try say what about children of immigrants. well they are not immigrants if they were born here now are they?) it is quite obvious that you lack basic common sense.

Okay, as many times as I’ve been to DC before, I’ve NEVER been to Ben’s Chili Bowl! I’m going this time, and getting the Half-Smoke like I’m a native and shit.
“supporting public education means sending your kids to and working with your local public school,” – He has plans to improve public school so that people won’t be scared to send their kids there.
“Move back to the city and closer to work, to ease congestion, consumption and pollution,” – This equals gentrification and creates more congestion, and it isn’t the president’s job to tell people where to move; more proof that you are putting him on a higher pedestal than anyone else.
“telling Americans that being a superpower is not merely a matter of economic power, but a matter of moral concern, even if it means that we should, “we should make room for the second place trophy.”” – blah, blah blah everyone says this crap and he basically said it in Germany. The reality our standard of living as a whole isn’t even as high as Canada and we have never been number 1 at that and Obama has the best plan to improve things here. It is our attitude that we are everyones’ “moral” judge that gets us in trouble in the first place.
@ Omar…every male affiliated with puffy is questionable. And for the record…Nelly was not attractive to me…he still isn’t (grills look gross in mouths)…but he does have a body and I cannot deny that factoid.

Nelly looks dirty to me and always has. He has a nice body, but so do half the men in prison. How are the two related? I wouldn’t want to fuck either of them.
Does Nelly get a pass for RUNNING A CREDIT CARD THROUGH A BLACK WOMANS ASS in the Tip Drill video? I want him dead all these years later. He may not be gay, but Puff Daddy is! All of them are an embarassment, no matter which side of their bottom they are using for sex (today).
As far as Erykah goes…..I mean, 3 kids by 3 men is not ideal, per say. But she is a full grown woman, an intelligent woman and a self reliant one. She can do it, more power to her. Now, the fact that one of those kids is by an alum of NWA, the single worst thing to happen to Black music since White folks is a little cuious to me. But I think Miss Badu is gonna be more than fine.
As far as Puff Daddy goes, aside from him being trade, he cheated on baby momma #1 with baby momma #2 (and they were friends). He publicly humiliates BM# 2 for years with his obsession with J.Lo and other Latinas/mixed looking women, his alleged dalliances with men, his alleged dalliences with the one girl who used to go with Jude Law (white girl, kinda unpretty…), baby momma #3 and finally, Cassie (a girl nearly 20 years his JR). HE GETS NO PASS!
The chili fries are the bomb. Also don’t leave without swinging by Danny’s and getting some wings with mumbo sauce.
Shit yeah, the Wings and Mumbo Sauce combo is REQUIRED for me when I go up to the “urrea”. My folks live around the corner from a Danny’s Carry-Out…But yeah, I defnitely checking Ben’s for the first time.

I guess I should say that I’ve only hung out with them during official events such as drag bingo during Proud to Be Out Week and the lot. In college I helped a couple trannies apply make-up before drag bingo performances–being backstage was always a blast. Also, being at events like that, even the people who aren’t actively participating (i.e.: dressed up) tend to let down their guard and have a good time. Thus, for me, trannies = fun. Did you know that there are special rules regarding proper tranny make-up application?
I’ve never chilled with a tranny. I really like gay men tho, esp those who are out. Because the ones who arent out are frustrated, and thus act like as ass all the time. See: P. Diddy.
Isn’t Eddie Murphy’s Ex, who went out and bought the biggest boobs she could find, now messing with Lisa Raye’s husband who is the king of the Turks and Caicos or something like that?
This Laverne Cox character fascinates. Who did she blow to get on Diddy’s show which no doubt was a payoff to keep her mouth shut about what’s been in it. Eff Superhead. I want LC to name names and confirm what many suspect.
I swear, the LGBT community are the coolest people I know. Man, when black caucus was dealing with the 2520′s at MSU, they were the first group to back us up. (mind you, this was per/dorm groups, not campus wide).

But I dont think its right to ‘equate’ struggles and oppression of people in this country.

@ Omar…gays want to be models. Kanye likes to sneak into dressing rooms in hopes of getting quick pussy. Trust, he has a reputation for doing that shit.

It really depends where in ATL you are. Basically, the closer you are to Midtown/Downtown, they gayer it is.
Tyler Perry was spotted recently at a movie premier with a beautiful Ethiopian woman- that I’m sure Chris would’ve gone ga -ga for. But I think it was just a cover-up to dispell all the gay rumors. They didnt even look right together. They just looked like a girl and a guy cousin kickin it out on the town.
WTF? Why can’t I post a photo? Anyways, there’s a photoshop of McCain as Ceiling Cat that says “Ceiling McCain is watching you masturbate” here: http://i32.tinypic.com/nbq1b6.jpg
by the way, i’m eating the most delicious french toast in the whole wide world…all i need is some good old juicy contraband peppered thick sliced pork bacon….
“after this past weekend’s experience, i realize that 99.9% of Atlanta men are gay or dl…”
Been to Hotlanta one time (and that was enough for me). I spent the entire trip trying not to get burnt by:
1. The uber FLAMING gay men…
2. Lightning..it was at a “gospel” choir convention (I wonder if the people in Eddie Long’s congregation are hoping/praying for the day when God will just bust in and get him, just to see how that would go down)
At least, I am taking something away from the whole IramiGate debacle. This precious jewel of an expression: “what in retarded gay hell?”
And yeah, Atlanta men give off a certain vibe I must admit.

Rev, tell. tha. TRUTH! Don’t get me started on them whack, self-hating gay morons who attend his “church.” I talked to one at a party one time and it was all I could do to resist grabbing his shoulders, shaking him like a baby with Downs and saying “Wake up, you fucktard!” Of course, the only thing more retarded than New Birf’ Missionary Position Baptist Chu’uch is Crept’yo Dollar’s Money Changers International (what the hell does “International” have to do with any thing?). Sad thing is, if both of those sorry-assed mu’fucka’s left Atlanta, there’d be ten more sorry-assed mu’fucka’s itching to take their place.
I will say this: that’s one thing I loved about the ATL–I couldn’t throw a brick and not hit a black gay guy. And Loretta’s and Traxx…ah, how I miss the weekends. And some of those brothers KNEW how to wear a muscle shirt (not you Eddie. Yo’ ass don’t belong in a muscle shirt. Period!)
We outing ‘closet’ cases again? LOL. You know, I have been told (on a few occasions) that it would behoove me to seek the love I desire from Black men in the arms of gay Black men, who can provide much of what I want “minus the sex”. That leaves me, of couse, with only 1% of what I want from men in the first place! J/K.
I do love me a gay man though. Flaming queens to “What you mean you not straight”, we just get along like vodka and cranberry.

TomatoHead(00:35:19) :
Gay men are quite possibly the best people on the planet. I have two new gays from going to summer school and omg are they great. One had me spying on a guy at work and trying to figure out if he was gay or not (he was). And the other went to a class event (a theater outing) with his boyfriend who looked just like him and they both spent the night complimenting my boobs.
My boobs need lots of attention and gay men know how to give it so well. Plus, straight man compliments usually feel like they are linked to a desire for sex. A straight man says “You look really pretty”- oh, so you trying to fuck? A gay man says “You look fabulous” and it’s like….YES! I have succeded!

I can have my best chat buddy, culture critic, workout and shopping partner around at all times, and kick out my hot but dumb man-hos when the job is done. It’s a win-win situation. Now excuse me while I go subscribe to Tracey Edmonds’ newsletter so I can learn how to make this happen…

@sister Toldja….I am sorry you shouldnt be mad at Nelly but at the chick that let him run a credit card down her a$$. I am sorry, he is not responsible for the depiction of black women nor are any male rappers. The videos are not reality they are fantasy. AND Nelly is Fine so I might have been blinded by them abs but I strongly feel that WOMEN are responsible for our representation. Be mad at Trina, Foxxy, Angel Lola Love, and Erykah because regardless of how deep she think she is having 3 babies by 3 different guys reinforces the the negative stereotypes associated with black women. I love Erykah’s music and her individuality but you make your bed and lie in it.
Now I can understand your disgust with Puffy, but even in that instance the women need to step up. Why is Kim sitting on the sideline with open arms after all these indiscretions?
30072008
Shay-D-Lady(00:53:32) :
I cosign on the Gay men comments. One of my dearest friends is a gay man. And he dont play, he will flat out tell me when its all wrong and when he looks me up and down and says “niiiiiiice” I know I am on and popping. Between my gay best friend and my husband I have the perfect relationship!
I can hold the women accountable for their actions, yes. They are low, low, low on the moral totem poles of Negronia.
HOWEVER
I would be a fool to not hold Nelly accountable for his misogyny, which allows him to pen disgusting lyrics about women and for him to find it entertaining to slide a credit card through a woman’s buttocks. It amazes me to no end how many people (women in particular) are willing to place the blame for such deplorable acts strictly on the shoulders of the women. Probably because Black people have a mindfuckingly bad lack of understanding of misogyny, and an alarmingly high rate of it in our ranks.
Wait. Wait. Wait. Erykah is worse than Nelly, because she has multiple baby daddies? While I personally would NEVER have three children by three men out of wedlock, I still respect her as an intelligent woman who spreads intelligent messages through her music. Is she reinforcing a stereotype? Perhaps, or maybe she is remixing it. Saying “Don’t think that because I have three children by three men that I’m not a great mother, a smart woman and a contributor to society”. I am not gonna judge her, because even though I.WOULD. NEVER.DO.WHAT.SHE.DID, not only is she capable of raising her family, I think she has a very different perspective on marriage. A lot of folks (NOT ME!) don’t believe in it anymore.
You can criticize Erykah if you wish, I can understand why one would. BUT, you also need to criticize Nelly for his misogynistic and violent lyrics, which encourage rampant promiscuity and connsumate materialism.
As for Kim Porter- I think she has been “in it to win it” since she had a baby by Al. B Sure! back in the day. I think her and Diddy are both wackness on a plate.

getoverit(01:08:04) :
Nelly did it, but it probably wasnt his idea. He probably laughed about it on the way home and reminices over it too. Not that that mess wasnt triffling, but so is soy cheese. My thing is, we hold people accountable for one act and hate them forever which doesnt make any sense to me. My questions are Who directed the video? Who paid for it? Who stayed up late to see that mess? What makes it any different of a video of a chick f-ing a horse?
30072008
Shay-D-Lady(01:09:54) :
I have a problem with placing more blame on Nelly, than on the grown woman who decided that it was a good Idea to be seen on t.v. like that. Do I think that Nelly used the best judgement? No I dont but I also know that the woman who agreed to let herself be degraded in that manner needs to take responsibility for that. We as black women deal with a lot of negative press that we cant control but letting a ninja slide a credit card down your ass is not one of them.
30072008
Knatural(01:17:18) :
Hmm. Maybe I need more gay friends, and by more I mean one, because I don’t get it.
Nelly is definitely to blame, but all participants in misogynistic videos are to blame, including the women.
30072008
Knatural(01:23:20) :
Wait. Am I the only woman here with no gay friends? Is that normal? Oh crap.
30072008
Jo(01:38:16) :
So I just watched the video (I’d never even seen it before) and I’ll just go ahead an cosign with ERRBODY. That was straight-up nasty.
And Knat–you don’t know what you’re missing. Gay boyfriends add a particular joy to life like none other.
I say we line up all the video hoes up and shoot them. Matter of fact, make Baby and Wayne do it while screaming out that they love penis.
…or we could just continue to have rap videos with undercover gay rappers that have video-man-hoes that are topless and wearing chains and throwing up gang signs (like they do in the club when they’re picking up hoodrats)….this never works.
30072008
Shay-D-Lady(01:49:23) :
And Erykah is also at fault for perpetuating the negative stereotypes concerning black woman and the demise of the black family. There are a lot of things that play into the current plight of black woman in America and unfortunately as much as I like her music, her actions are just as much a part of it as Nelly’s decision to slide a credit card down a chick’s ass and Kim allowing Puffy to treat her as a sideline ho in the public eye. I hold these men responsible for teaching our black male children that it is okay to treat women like sex objects but I hold women responsible for continuing to reinforce it by their actions day in and day out.
y’all a mess! Eddie Murphy is def. gay, though. Let’s not forget Sisqo’s happy ass!!!

Sorry, not reading all comments. Brain dead. I had the first day of the bar exam and THERE WAS AN EARTHQUAKE…. and they DIDN’T GIVE US ANY EXTRA TIME! People were ducking under the table, the girl next to me got up to run (she was white, but apprently, she had Black instincts).
ANYWAY, I have a conspiracy theory that Hollywood and the record companies are dominated by gay men, which is fine, because I love gay men. But it would explain why there is so much misogyny– tryna overcompensate for their inner feminitity… Remember the Boondocks episode about Thug Love?
30072008
Shay-D-Lady(02:01:13) :
LOL wasnt his nam Gangstalicious? The boondocks are my guilty pleasure….sometimes he definitely takes it to far but that shit is funny!
So, misogyny is just a concept Black women are unfamiliar with? No one is saying that the woman is not blame worthy. But the idea that Nelly should be exonerated from blame just because is disgusting. At the end of the day, the girls in that video are nameless, faceless whores and Nelly is a superstar. And apparently, this is okay.
Shabooty- You don’t know what I had to do to get up there. *Wink, wink*
Ok, fine. I sent Chris money.

@ Shay- You’re right, it *was* gangstalicious!

Shay-D-Lady(02:30:10) :
I am not removing blame from nelly (as pointed out in my previous statements) but I am not holding him solely responsible for the negative portrayal of women in the media or any other man for that matter. She is forever known as the chick that got a credit card slid down her ass in that Nelly video. She made that decision, she agreed to it and felt that what ever fame, notoriety, money etc she received was more important to her than anything else. I am not willing to give these women a pass by allowing them to take the victim’s role.
Everybody, I am fearing sleep due to a huge black spider roaming around in my room that I couldn’t catch with my vacuum.

Wow Riz, that sucks! Glad you’re safe and hope your home and everything is okay. Maaaan, I would’ve thrown a hot monkey fit if while I was taking the boards there was an earthquake, or hurricane…or somebody coughing or a slight deviation in room temperature, lol.
30072008
riz(02:47:21) :
@The Doc: Thanks for the well-wishing. When I left the exam, my phone and email were flooded with everyone being scared. I guess it was all over the news because it was a 5.8… It’s ironic, I spent the last couple weeks panicking about the exam, then when a real emergency happened, I didn’t panic at all. I just decided to go down with the ship, I guess. I was like, “Ah HAYLL nah, they not taking away MY 4 minutes!!”
But how is she being relegated to a victims role? All I am saying is, HIS ASS WAS WRONG TOO. Why is that not worth exploring? The amount of hatred and disrespect and ignorance it takes to do something like that for both participants? Yes, she was dead-the-fuck-wrong. But the man who did it is the one coming in loud and clear on a lot of kids (and impressionable and fucking stupid adults) I-Pods, YouTubes, 106 and Parks. He has more influence than she, and THIS is how he chooses to use it. He is a fucking fool and so is she.
The validation seeking of women who choose to degrade themselves is also worth considering. In a patriarchy, the cards are often in the man’s hand and in this case, certainly in his. Some women have such low self worth, any validation and acceptance from a man is worth the cost. In our community, for many (fools and young people), Nelly is “a big deal”. Thus, it would be “a big deal” to be in a Nelly video.
Or maybe the woman is a stripper, and this is her trade. Either way, she’s fucked. But Nelly or the director (though I think he directed this video, could be wrong) came up with the idea to do this. And because some dumb, low self esteem girl went with it, he should be exonerated.
Black women, we are indeed our own worse enemies.
30072008
Shay-D-Lady(03:10:23) :
I have agreed on several occassions that he was wrong as well… the only reason I said anything is becuase your original comment seemed to indicate that you only found fault with him. However when I say victim a lot of these video women justify allowing themselves to be degraded by saying they dont have choice, they have no ther way to make a living, its what the men and corporations etc etc and I cannot absolve them of responsibility for those actions. However I completely agree that both are wrong (for different reasons expressed previously).
30072008
Shay-D-Lady(03:17:12) :
I totally agree that the whole issue is more the mindset of these women that are in these videos and their self esteem, however I think that the first part of building self esteem is taking control of yourself and realizing that you are responsible for your actions. When you feel that someone else controls you, you cant possibly feel good about yourself, so while Mysoginistic videos and song lyrics play a role, there is a lot more at stake and we need to place blame on more than just the artist, we need to hold these women accountable too.
Ok, so instead of arguing about it, we need to boycott video hoes. I actually started that battle w/ my facebook group.

Ok, so instead of arguing about it, we need to boycott video hoes. I actually started that battle w/ my facebook group.
Look, all I’m saying is that we as women need to stop fighting each other and instead stick together to empower ourselves. It is so true when people say we are our own worst enemies because we are. We sit here complaining about the lack of good men in the world, and complaining about females starting crap with other females. Trust, we may not be able to change every individual man and woman, but by starting with ourselves and only communicating with those that feel like we do, we can certainly change the mindset that we are living in. I am all for change and improvement. After all, we are all works in progress…so lets just beautify the construction signs/tarps instead of showing off all our internal dust?

The Doc Is In(03:58:51) :
When it comes to stankaliciousness like the Tip Drill video, there is plenty of blame to go around. Just because one recognizes that the woman made a bad choice to be in the video, that does NOT mean that Nelly is therefore exonerated. It’s like the never-ending argument about black people and our status in society. There is a role for both personal responsibility as well as dealing with the legacy of systematic oppression.
This is the problem I have with some feminist propaganda. It spends too much time complaining about men instead of focusing on empowering women. Expecting everything to be all fairy dust covered rose petals when THEY change, gives THEM too much power.
There is always going to be a backdrop of issues. We say black men hate women (which I don’t believe)…they say is it any wonder considering how they’ve been demasculinized and oversexualized in their history in America. Now where do we go? Given X circumstances, what are WE going to do to overcome? How do we actualize our potential beyond what men think our roles are. Besides, if we are to believe everything in “Black in America” (which…ha!) black women are the ones raising all the black children and getting more education and the best jobs anyway, so how much longer can we continue to blame men for how we are viewed in society when we are not utilizing all the power we do have?
On a lighter note, another issue I have with some feminist views is the general lack of a place for those who don’t subscribe to traditional views about sexuality. I mean, what if I really do just like showing off my ass? Is that irresponsible? Does it make it better if you show it equally to men and women? lol

Or, go to both of their websites and follow the links to local meetings and blogs. What I’m saying is, take a minute to look at what they’re ON THE RECORD as saying to their supporters and to their potential voters and what those people are saying to each other. Then get out there in your lives and just get folks to vote.
I am sick to shit of people telling me how they are not only not registered to vote, but how it’s pointless, how it’s a rigged game, blah blah moan moan whine whine, etc. Really? Then you don’t deserve to say shit if you can’t even be bothered to vote in your local, county, state or national elections you cynical, lazy, pseudo critical wasted of skin.
Obama is a politiician, McCain is a politician. One doesn’t have that long of a record of selling their soul to their party, the other does. One is going to appoint a Supreme Court Justice that is going to wreak havoc on the lives of my grandchildren, the other is going to appoint someone who might just maybe have an idea of how powerful the Court is and how it shapes our society for generations to come. If nothing else, that should give you enough pause to vote. He would say words like Honey and Baby, but HE WAS A DUDE all the way! He was freaking hilarious. He made the boys feel unsettled and want to kick his arse, but he would be like, “baaaaby, let one of the lil boys step up, I may look like a girl, but I fight like a man.’ he did, for the record.

For real! Ulterior motive, not even well-hidden. And if Congress apologized, what do we get? I want some prizes. I want the gov’t to pay off my mortgage and a lifetime supply of paid vacations. And free Hoilday dinners. And free cable sans Fox News and CMT.
AGAIN, I (nor anyone with a brain) would suggest that the women be relived from accountability. But why are we so willing to place all of the blame upon a woman? Or to say ‘I mean, he was wrong but she was WROOOONG’. You all seem to see that as giving Black men too much power, but in actuality, we are treating them like children who can’t be accountable for their own actions. I don’t know if it’s a lack of faith in the potential of our men, or a fear of ostracizing them (or both), but Black women cannot carry the brunt of the responsibility for our gender issues. And to charge Black women with the primary responsibilty for a misogynistic act is laughable.
We may be the ones utlimately charged with leading the efforts to end misogyny (though we do have a few brother warriors in the struggle- Kevin Powell and scholar Greg Hampton among them), but in our efforts we must confront the women AND the men. Our men are lacking in self-esteem and self-worth as well and many of them are “not strong, merely agrressive” (c. T. Morrison).
I think part of the reason that lesbians enter feminist stages of thought easier than straight women is because they are not seeking anything from men beyond respect and tolerance. Whereas straight women also want to be loved, cherished, desired and accepted by men. Black women’s fear of exploring feminism is damning us to hell- man and woman and child alike. The Civil Rights Movement, Black Arts and Black Power movements were all heavily run by patriarchal men who focused on returning “the ALMIGHTY Black Man” to his “place”. And in 2008, we have women thinking we can do it all by ourselves, including shoulder the blame for our communities ills. WRONG.
I don’t think people really have a problem confronting black men. Everytime I hear a stat about black people it either about black men or related to them (i.e. All the single black women just don’t have much to pick from).
Besides Nelly got it with both barrells from everyone in print, on the net and on T.V….how many people have actually confronted the girl from the video or held her accountable?
30072008
ayo(14:31:17) :
Or the directors! Or the LABEL!
After that Nelly went to Spellman and tried to do a campain for his sister who was dying and needed a bone marrow transplant and got dissed. That was an example of black women closing the door on a worthy campain because someone did something stupid. They should have taken him to task, but then made him offer something instead and not closed the door on the bone marrow issue. But instead of shutting these people out, we need them to grow, change, offer solutions, etc.
Yea. Nelly is accountable, but at that time, Unkut videos was where it was at for Hip Hop artists. Is this an excuse, no, but it expalins it. The female is responsible too, but what I see is that girls are more than willing to be disrespected to ‘compete’ with other girls in their willingness to be freaky or nasty or whatever. Does this come from video culture. YES! Most of whom are willing participants.
I am totally sick that we give out passes in the black community. It ok to have 3 baby daddies if you have the mone, its ok to be a video ho if you need the money, its ok to not take care of your kids if you aint right yet. At somepont somebody has to say… NONE OF YOU MO-FOs get a pass! This foolishness just isnt ok Any-freaking-more.
Doc- I don’t have a problem with showing some ass (or in my case, thighs and breasts) when appropriate. It’s funny, because I have always been a little too militant/feminist for the “mainstream” crowd, but a little too baudy/raunchy for some of the feminist/militants!
Yes, I can speak on uplifiting women with this short skirt or low cut top. And I wear makeup and I can’t fathom why a woman wouldn’t shave her underarms or wax her brows. I also see no problem (safe, responsible) casual sex. I also don’t see a problem with washing clothes or cooking for a man.
Yes, I’m down for improving the lives of Black people. And I am also down for happy hours, long island iced teas and (censored). We can live will, be freaky and free….as long as we do it with respect for others and for ourselves.
30072008
Knatural(14:35:33) :
It’s interesting that it always boils down to the card swipe, which is at the very end of a seven minute-plus video. The entire video is…stankalicious (perfect word Doc).
I understand the issue is the entire spectrum of misogyny, but certain acts of sexual degradation – like the card swipe – wouldn’t exist without willing female participants. I place blame equally, on all parties. There’s always a choice, full stop.
I think the Spelman women made the right choice. I am sorry that his sister died, but the NERVE of him to think that he could make his living degrading Black women and lean on us when he was in need. What should he have offered them? A check, some money he made from selling shit like “Tip Drill” to impressionable young people? Or some shit called “Apple Bottoms” (which they make in CHILDRENS SIZES for some godforsaken reason). The only thing he could have offered would have been a promise to change the way he addresses women in his music, and he didn’t do that.
‘Yea. Nelly is accountable, but at that time, Unkut videos was where it was at for Hip Hop artists”
Not true. THAT was the video that made Uncut huge. And Nelly was plenty famous before that. In fact, he is one of the only ‘major’ artists to air videos on Uncut. But, you are saying why wouldn’t he do it, if it were a chance to have a video on a popular show. WTF? And while the credit-card swipe was the big “OMG” moment, the whole video and track were absolutely disgusting.
And as far as having three baby daddies, I don’t think the shit is whats up. But I think it is crazy that a woman of means rasing three children by three men (we don’t know if the current BF and she are gonna get married, btw) is equateble to video hoes and the tip drill video. There ARE some women who want to have kids, but cannot find a man to marry them who they wish to marry, and so they choose to go at it alone.
The difference with Ms. Badu IS that she has money however her situation is that her kids can be raised properly. They won’t go t craptacular schools, their mother will have time for them, and they more than likely will NOT be selling drugs in front of my house. So even though it is irresponsible sometimes being rich allows you to be a little less responsible than others in some ways…
Like somebody with 1 million dollar salary blowing half a years pay in Vegas…
VS.
Somebody blowing half of their 60 thousand dollar in Vegas…
Real Talk all the influence he has will vanish if he cleans up. Nobody mentions Master P since he chilled out and wrote books about fatherhood.
Name me anyone who cleaned up their act that still get’s recognition from the industry…especially when half these cats aren’t even that good as emcees.
The women of Spelman were blinded by their crusade…it would be like me telling a gang leader not to bother telling kids around him to go to school. Who benefitted from that show getting shut down? Nelly didn’t stop making money, the women of Spelman got to look good, but who got left out?
People like him are a dime a dozen. When one falls of they push another one out front and recruit some others. Just look at the pure fuckery that is Soulja Boy…his album for damn sure ain’t better then Monche’s last joint. I can’t think of half these famous assholes that were. The pure fact is the main audience buying hip-hop don’t want to hear about empowerment and upliftment…White teenage boys want to hear about machismo and sex and they want to think that women will one day fall all over them because they’re tough….just like poor republicans don’t want businesses taxed because they think that they’ll fulfill a Horatio Alger myth one day.
BTW I know an upstanding sister that said she loves apple bottoms cause regular jeans don’t fit her ass well.
So, Amadaeo, the solution would be to do absolutely nothing? Nelly could still make shitty music rapping about sneakers and stuff without degrading women and promoting irresponsible behavior. And people had stopped listening to Master P BEFORE he got a brain.
30072008
ayo(15:06:20) :
The anger towards Nelly is both necessary and just, but people are bigger than one instance or even a clothing label. Applebottoms sucks, but so did Fetish, but EVE a female rap artist. I just think that the whole thing being blamed on one person is simply too easy. I think we draw lines in the black community and we should be erasing them. Easily influenced Mc’s should be able to say, you know what, I was young and dumb. I’m growing up so now what can I do to fix it? I mean just because Nelly slid a credit card down a chicks butt, he shouldnt be able to do a bone marrow drive? Not feeling that. Sistas were lining up to appear in the videos before Tip drill. And I would have prefered the Spellman woman making him make a public statement regarding his actions, or making a video that depicts women in a positive light, since he has this power. Maybe that would have changed his life and perspective. We say… hell naw Nelly, but offer no solutions meanwhile no growth has occured. Did that serve as an example to the hip hop video producers. IMO nope…. still the same images are there. girls rubbing on girls, stank clothes, ghetto foolishness… basically Nelly and his credit card are on par with the rest of the images that are out there. Is this ok… nope.
As far as Nelly the responsibility has to be placed at the feet of the people in charge anything else is pointless. Many of these girls were strippers but they stripped in strip clubs, Nelly is responsible for bringing that into many a children’s TV set.
Nelly is a symptom of something much larger, in a world where grown people talk about pimping like it is a good thing and the NAACP gave R. Kelly an image award the problem is a lack of standards.
And as far as the upstanding sister, while I don’t have that problem ( I don’t have a big ass and I dont wear jeans), I wouldn’t wear Nelly clothes if he made the last perfectly fitting XYZ in the world. My mom called me one day saying she heard about some jeans she wanted to try called Apple Bottoms. When I picked myself off the ground, I gave her a long talking to about the propreitor and let’s just say….she’s not wearing any of Nellys pants.
It bothers me that one would deem good fitting jeans more important than not supporting someone who is a sexist pig. Furthermore, Apple Bottom jeans are GHETTOOOO! Ugh, so tacky! They have the big writing and the apple pockets and shit. I read one of my former 7th grade students when I saw her in some. We had a long, eye-opening chat. Hopefully, she is still not a fan of ABs.

We say dont support AB, but support what instead – the gap? babyphat? forever 21? tracy reese? I remember when folks was running to by Polo, and then he dissed us? I mean… damn.
People always go after the easy thing…it’s easy to criticize him (and the girl). Mind you people criticized Imus, but what was effective was that they went after his sponsors…Capitalism = Cash Rules.
Re: Master P…we heard about Mase when he was no longer a real factor cause he tried to come hard again…someone somewhere said, “He’s back with the program let’s get a video out.” If Master P came out tomorrow with the “Make Crack 2008 remix” a label would try to grab it as quick as possible…as long as he’s talking sense his Rap career is over.
What’s that saying, “All publicity is good publicity”
Having forums and questioning Nelly is just like feeding the trolls. We just keep things going. Get at those labels and let people know this is who funnels out the bullshit. When we get on Emcee’s it’s no different then white people saying, “Dumb nigger rappers”.
Case in point…how is it in Hip-Hop you’re either bullshit and platinum or sociall relevant and thus not promoted? Go look at the rock section of a music store there’s over a hundred genres…but Hip-Hop is treated as one thing. That’s why I fux with ME Dyson. Every other elder hears “rap or hip-hop” and automatically assumes guns, drugs and booty shake.
As far as clothing labels goes quality sucks because they aren’t clothing designers they are rappers who know they can sell stuff by putting their name on it… kind of like rappers acting(except for Tupac, Common and Mos Def).
The problem with the Master P analogy is neither him nor anyone else has the character to stop while they are still making money. And we excuse it by saying that at least brothers is making money as-is the operative word in sell-out, isn’t SELL… sell-outs always got paid.
BTW they aren’t children or “young and dumb” they are grown fucking men and should be expected to act as such…
If I based my purchase musically and otherwise on the “goodness” of the person who started to company I’d be sewing my own clothes and I wouldn’t own anything else.

“McCain straight up says that him leaving his first wife has more to do him turning 40, and his own insecurities, than it had to do with her.”
Yes – this is far more believable than “you’re paralyzed, she’s rich, and I kinda wanted to fuck other people anyway”. You must be a mental gymnast, because I can’t imagine any normal person being able (or willing) to contort their minds to believe such a crock of shit.
You should watch Good Will Hunting. You’ll see yourself in the scene where the pseudo-intellectual in the bar scene gets his ass handed to him.

“After that Nelly went to Spellman and tried to do a campaign for his sister who was dying and needed a bone marrow transplant and got dissed. That was an example of black women closing the door on a worthy campaign because someone did something stupid.”
I think this example eloquently shows the cost of political action. Neither Nelly nor the Spellmen women could have it both ways. They had priorities. They made their decisons(a word that truly means cut down, as in to cut down one’s options) and felt both the dignity of acting in accordance with their ideals and the pain of not fulfilling other ideals. Nelly probably didn’t anticipate the reaction his video would lead to, but that’s another bit about political action, you can’t control how others are going to take you, and in a free society, you can’t control how others are going to react.
30072008
B4Prez(15:34:39) :
Well apparently, Nelly is about to join one of those CSI or Law & Order shows (you know there’s like 6 versions of each, so I don’t know which one). I just thought I’d throw that in since he’s causing such a ruckus on here. Not only can u watch his videos, and see his ads for seanjohn, and wear his apple bottoms, but u can now also enjoy his dramatic stylings weekly.
30072008
Irami(15:38:49) :
And guys, about the Aristotle, it’s THE definition of moral character, as in the one all other definitions are found upon. I wish I wouldn’t have cited the name, and just said the sense, but just so you know, the origin sense of a person’s character goes back to that chapter in that text(and Nichomachean Ethics)– and will probably always be so in the Western world– defined as what a person can be depended to do or not do.
Spelman women had nothing to do with Nelly’s sister’s death nor does that bar Nelly from asking for support from other people, nor do we really know if Spelman College or it’s alumni contribute to bone marrow research on a regular basis or not(it didn’t all start with Nelly’s sister) so this incident has very little bearing on bone marrow research or Nelly’s sister.
I seriously doubt that it was as simple as Nelly needing money to get the bone marrow transplant if anybody could afford it, Nelly could.

I HATE BEING BLACK IN AMERICA. I am succeeding from the rest of you people. My apartment is now the country of Toldonia, and you niggas are free to fuck, suck and spend yourselves in to your inevitable demise. Have fun.

Shay-d-lady(17:12:33) :
If you want to know the truth, i was not mad at the video or the video ho. But personal responsibility works both ways, you can argue that letting Nelly off the hook is treating him like a child, but that argument is true for the ladies in the video as well. Its 2 sides to the same dirty ass coin. I realize that I might hold the woman more responsible than Nelly, and that is because she is a black woman and therefore I feel that I should hold her accountable. Nelly did an adult video, adult women participated; it was aired on BET uncut late at night. I never even saw the video until the whole uproar at Spellman and guess what? My daughter has never seen it and never should because it is an adult video. I don’t think that this video, or any other video is the cause of the problems black women experience in America, is it a symptom of growing up in a sexist, exploitive, misogynistic society? Yes. Does Nelly hate women? No. Do I think Spellman had a right to reject Nelly, yes again personal responsibility for his actions; he had to deal with the repercussions. I am just wondering, where was the uproar when Snoop and Treach hosted porno films? Where is the disgust at the strip clubs?

And people actually want him to be our next president? What was the famous catch phrase in the last election….. flip-flopper?
F*ck McCain. That was as polite as I could put it.
He flip flopped.
http://www.ontheissues.org/Senate/John_McCain_Civil_Rights.htm
Anyway, fuck off, McCain.
“This racism is killing me inside.”
-Dave Chapelle
Let’s see those black folks that want to vote for him now ahem(Joseph Phillips)ahem
Joseph Phillips probably doesn’t believe in affirmative action even though he was only on the Cosby Show because he was black… Has he been in anything else…
Yeah I know about the whole POW thing, and this maybe the most inconsiderate thing someone says on this site (bwa ha ha) but I don’t care, it happened over 40 years ago, stop using it as a sympathy ladder to gain support for your crusty, racist ass.
he was in Strictly Business AAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH
@ Mr. Smith
Actually vietnam vets have been the hardest on McCain being a prisoner.
They’ve said:
He talked.
Got Special treatment.
The best one was that knowing the weaponry used and his jets capabilities…it was his fault he got shot down.
McCAIN FTL

He played himself in Strictly Business…
Well there you go, fuck McCain. He’s going to lose to a black man.
“United” States, that’s a joke in itself. There’s probably going to be the biggest white turn out ever this election
This doesn’t surprise me! The man is an asshole. Period!
Also from living in Arizona during the time that the State didn’t recgonize the Holiday most places did including the school system. Just a lil FYI and no I am not sticking up for that jerk McCain.
Damn. John McCain will be 72 next month! That’s one stale cracker.
Mr. Smith, I believe Obama will win. Americas are stupid, but I’m optimistic that we aren’t THAT stupid to elect a repeat of Shrub.
Honestly, I am actually concerned about the election and Barak winning. My Mom said, “It’s going to be a different situation when people get to the polls and close that curtain.” Its all love now, and Mr. O is the de facto President, but who knows whats going to happen when the cracka ass crackas actually vote.
John McCain bringing up Affirmative action is just code for “you do remember he’s black right…”
“That’s one stale cracker.”
HA!
72? Man, that is one stale, stale, salty cracker
@Knat: I don’t know, now. We elected for a second helping of George “Yale is for Ree Rees Too” W. Bush.
@ Saun
Someone theorize (and was told they were unpatriotic) that he has been affected by his being a prisoner. He spent so much time in solitary that he was living in his own world in his head…they said he used to get mad at the soldiers that brought him food for disturbing him.
Everytime I see John McCain, I think of that scene in Indiana Jones: Last Crusade when the Nazi dude chose the wrong Holy Grail, and he began to rapidly age and then die and turn to dust. That’s John McCain. John McCain farts dust.
John McCain and his wife Cindy
Wow Laurel slow down!
Next 8 years!?!? Don’t even speak of such a nightmare as a reality!
This man cannot be elected. There is no way. I keep telling people the parties conspired to get Obama elected by ensuring that he ran against the most unelectable presidential candidate since Bob Dole.
At least Dubya has personality and is from a real state. John McCain is not even a little likeable.
Jen- What is your theory on that? (Both parties wanting Obama elected).
I try to wish death on McCain with my eyes, but perhaps I have to do this in person.
Dubya’s personality tastes like the bottom of my shoe.
Actually I feel sorry for Obama if he does get elected. Over 400 billion defecit…stuck in a war…economy sucks. Most elected officals never get the credit of their time in office…they get credit or blame for what the last guy left for them.
Does anyone else instinctively hear “Giggity giggity” when they see Dubya do that head bob thing during a speech?
The country needs a fall guy for the imapct of a resolution in Iraq/the impending hell that the Arab world is about to let loose on America. This can only end in tears. It would be ugly no matter who was elected. I feel like somebody thought there would be no better time to throw a woman or Black person under the bus. And that we’d all be so excited about what was happening that we wouldn’t care why it was. I just can’t imagine wanting to walk into the forthcoming presidential term.
“cracker ass cracker”
How about I didn’t know there was a post yesterday.
How about free bikes for everyone…that solves obesity, laziness and the oil crisis in one stroke.
ST: “I try to wish death on McCain with my eyes, but perhaps I have to do this in person.”
LMA to Tears on that one!
I really do wish I had a bike though.
If the Republicans get the White House in November someone will have to commit me.
Irami, I don’t trust him, either. I am only voting for him because McCain is evil and my grandma wants a Black president.
@ Irami
That’s like when people said, “obama hasn’t said anything about the Jena 6″
White people are already scared, what he’s doing is the equivalent of putting his hands on the steering wheel, after pulling out his license and registration before the officer gets to the car. When he does get there he’s going to be very polite.
And for the record nobody should trust politicians.
omg we have had this convo over and over and over.
Im dying.
:-/
@ Irami
And then there are the third kind, who when asked a question say “huh?” (see Bush, George; McCain, John).
excuse me, I’m off to “do a Google”.
I think I just fell in love with ayo
McCain is not good at pandering.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
He’s doing it very well right now.
for all the shit that is talked about african countries and their corrupted leaders, and how there is no democracy, i don’t see how it is different here. At least the african leader gangsta their way in in broad day light. They do the same here but in the under handed way. Distract ppl with unnecessary ingnorant bs while they rape their own country and ppl.
lol…
Didn’t Obama said that he was “for affirmative action, as long as properly executed”? True, a lot of his views seem vague, but I think that part of that comes from a desire to learn more about an issue before giving a definite opinion.
What the does that mean? Properly executed could mean anything .

Irami, still Dont give a F*ck about what your are talking about! And actually, your arse already lives in a world of short on black role models dumbass.
By the way all politicians are opportunistic and damn near all capitalists are opportunistic so that is neither here nor there in America.
log on here and spout your stupid ass thoughts on Obama being a coward. http://www.josephcphillips.com/
I wish I could duck tape all of your fingers to your chairs
properly executed = opposite of how the Iraq war was planned
@Omar:
golf claps.
Do you know what any politic would do or wouldn’t do? wtf
Exactley NE!!!! Irami’s ass doesnt even know what the f*ck shes having for dinner.
By the way all politicians are opportunistic and damn near all capitalists are opportunistic so that is neither here nor there in America.
Go ahead and vote for Nader. We read here. We know all about that sh*t. and still we DONT GIVE A F*CK.
Obama could say “i’m reforming NCLB by ensuring that all children have cookies and milk before they go home” and i’d vote for him… anything is better than what we have now.
fuck mc cain(old bitch). fuck republicans. fuck you i you like them.
New bill+same kids = same sh*t.
@ ayo… no one EVER gives a fuck about Nader…he’s like that lame person in the back of class… you know he’s there, but sometimes you forget, and when he says shit you be like “damn, i didn’t know he still went to school here!!!” LMAO
Is Nader running as an independent?
Today, I’m on a roll against fucking asshole 2520′s. I hope that jackass has another stroke.
b4prez…. schools will reform when they start paying teachers better!!!!
payed teachers= happy teachers.
and they need to have teachers that can realte to the kids they’re teaching.
GTFOH.
yeah, nader is independent.
Irami:
As someone who works with young people and deals with schools what Obama is talking about is needed right now. Do you know what NCLB has done and how it operates…I’ve seen it and it sucks. Obama’s does not sound like more of the same…he’s actually addressing the problems with NCLB. Mean while Naders doesn’t say much and the thing he is most specific about is something Obama has been stressing in regards to everyone…civic engagment and public service.
So let me get this straight – you have the gall to call Obama’s AA policy vague because of a media soundbyte, then refer to this…
“The federal government must not impose an overemphasis on high-stakes standardized tests.
…as ‘progressive vision for responsible citizenship’??? Bashing NCLB, making a vague call to ‘support’ teachers and students, and pushing for more community service…is PROGRESSIVE? VISIONARY? REALLY/?!!?!?!?!
REALLY!??!?!?!?!?lkeJW;LKR5IJH32QI4U6;OIJH5;IQL3JH6TJFDS???????????????
LOL @SBPH:
Breathe, Chris. Ignorance pleads patience.
I don’t have the screnf to deal with irami.
I’m getting pissed and I rarely get pisssed
Is Irami Creole?
Or is Irami code for ‘Joel Thien”?
How can anyone trust McCain, over Obama. McCain is an old fuddyduddy.
IRAMI
What is your real issue with Obama?
“Mean while Naders doesn’t say much and the thing he is most specific about is something Obama has been stressing in regards to everyone…civic engagment and public service.”
Obama stresses civic engagment and public service when he talks to some, and Math and Science when he talks to others. You can’t have it both ways. Part of what it means to have priorities is to say, “This is more important than that. I don’t care if India and China are producing more engineers. Our job as Americans is to produce more, better people.”
There there, Ne. Irami is just a product of a white-washed self-loathing environment. Sh*t she probably loved “Black in America”.
Perhaps Wrights job is to speak the truth but:
When people wanted Obama to toss him he would not and he got bashed for it.
When Wright just kept talking…which hurt Obama more, he had to step away from him.
Even if their arguments are a little ridiculous.
right ayo…right!
Irami
You can have it both ways when you tell everyone…no matter your age or title to get involved in public service. Then stress math and science in regards to education.
Since there are kids in school and people out of school it’s a pretty good strategy…especially since in some places (like MD) kids HAVE to have community service hours to graduate.
@Irami
Does Irami mean “idiot” in your native tongue?
No matter what we say Irami is going to write in Nader on her ballot, go home and write a letter to Santa, and color eggs for the Easter Bunny and call her life ‘Living the Dream of an Enlightened Person of Color!!!’.
But you know what I really hate? Smart people who prefer to posture arrogance and superiority despite facts to the contrary and disregard the greater good in favor of appearing intellectual or informed.
“Obama stresses civic engagment and public service when he talks to some, and Math and Science when he talks to others. You can’t have it both ways.”
He also gives multiple speeches a day to different organizations. He’s not going to step in front of a teachers union and talk about corn subsidies.
You are really stretching here.
The best reason I think I’ll vote for Obama:
Not a Babyboomer. Their world is over why people want them to run ours is beyond me. If you can’t work a blackberry, have a crappy website and don’t know what google is then have some STFU…a warm cup.
…getting off topic. But as stated before, they’re afraid of losing their “prestige” and “power” to women and coloreds. And bet they’d kill themselves if they have a mexican be the CEO of the company that they work for…
Hahahah…okay, B4Prez. I’m with you now.
The last thing we need is another Jesse Jackson trying to run for office.
“When Wright just kept talking…which hurt Obama more, he had to step away from him.”
“had to” is a funny phrase. I’ve seen it cover all manners of cowardice. He could have said, “That’s my preacher. He is an American, and he has been on the ground, helping poor in Chicago for decades, and I’m sticking to him.
“It sounds like your beef with Obama is that he is a politician. He is doing what most politicians who want to win do – moving to the middle. Which makes McCain’s shift the the right even more odd.”
My beef is that Obama is a politician, and he is running as Jesus, which makes me think he is a damn liar.
…forgive my belligerence. I feel like cutting somebody. That is all.
And although I would LOVE to be president, bet you that I’d probably be a bitch if you call me at 3am about bullshit.
Irami – Obama is mindful of The Stereotype Threat that Whites are waiting to be fulfilled. If he comes across as “angry” of to forthright on certain issues, it will awaken the not-so-dormant fears that Whites have about a Black man with power. He’s not a coward, he’s running for President for Christ’s sake. HE’S BLACK. HELLLLLOOOOOOO IN THERE.
Irami…he tried that. Remember the flag pin incident. News media wouldn’t let that “issue” go, despite the fact that he kept saying that flag pins don’t prove patriotism. And when he told people to back up off his wife, America refused. People accused him of being a coward then and told him that if he and his wife can’t handle the heat in the kitchen…
I think you’re giving people a little too much credit.
While I think it’s pretty safe to say that most blacks won’t vote for a black candidate just because he’s black (see: ‘Dark&Lovely Rev. Al’), however, I will vote for a progressive black candidate who is not only representative of true change (in more ways than 1), but also capable of changing the way legions of young black males view themselves and their capabilities. I’d be lying through my teeth if I didn’t say that, if that happens, that right there would be enough for me. It’s been a while since who’s running the white house has had an affect on the common man.
*reads Irami’s comments*
*considers responding*
*decides to continue spraying Cool Whip on my hand and licking it off*
Hmm…so after trying to hold on to Wright he should have stayed with him despite him continuing to go out into public and run his mouth. Even while people were calling him a racist (and the term was accepted) despite the fact that he never said one racist thing:
This is what you wanted the guy who’s had to prove that he’s not a muslim terrorist sleeper agent to do.
The world has been waiting for America to grow up since it’s inception…let me know when that happens.
running as Jesus?! what? explain please.
Irami – I think we’d respect you more if you just admit that Obama’s Blackness bothers you, not his campaign, stance on issues, or cowardice. Maybe. Just be honest.
I love you, ST.
lol@ ST
smh@ Irami
Amadeo : “The best reason I think I’ll vote for Obama:
Not a Babyboomer. Their world is over why people want them to run ours is beyond me. If you can’t work a blackberry, have a crappy website and don’t know what google is then have some STFU…a warm cup.”
Lawd, this made my heart sang and my sould cry out loud which in turn caused my coworkers to look at me like I was absolutely insane!

what is the point in arguing with somebodoy who is clearly ignorant and u cant have an intellectual correspondence with.
/”My beef is that Obama is a politician, and he is running as Jesus, which makes me think he is a damn liar.”/ i rest my case.
u know as they say “small knowledge is dangerous”. Irami has obviously caught few sound bites in the media and is perpetrating to know what he/she/it is talking about.
“The last thing we need is another Jesse Jackson trying to run for office.”
No, the last thing we need is a generation of people looking up to guys like Stephen Carter and Clarence Thomas, just because white people put them in position of authority. The last thing we need is people like Michael Jordan, who when asked to endorse the the candidate running against Jesse Helms said, “Republicans buy shoes, too” or Tiger Woods who won’t say a damn thing, so in the face of those guys, I’ll take my Tommie Smiths, Jim Browns, Jesse Jacksons, Jeremiah Wrights, and Papa Williams. Mostly I wish Obama had more Julian Bond in him and less Tom Bradley.
My beef is that Obama is a politician, and he is running as Jesus, which makes me think he is a damn liar
AREYOUFUCKINGKIDDINGME?
So many questions, so little time.
Are you 18 and just started watching cnn? Are you slow? have you ever caught yourself licking the window? I am so confused you just lost all credibility by saying some dumb shit like that.
Do you seriously believe Obama is running as Jesus? You and nobody else knows the reason behind Obama’s decision to leave his chuch. What wright SHOULD have done was shut his damn mouth and support his church member. Pastors need to stay in their lane and speak to the church about GOD’S message and not their own. Obama chose to walk out on him because HE wanted to. You and no one else knows what really went down. Obama didn’t put durt on his name he just backed away like a MAN does when he is being the bigger person. He had been going to that church when it was small, before he ran for president. So their history is something you and nobody else can speak on. In a church loyalty as a church family is suppose to be there, and it looks like to me Wright was in over his head…(smh pimps turned into pastors)
END OF RANT
@Irami – Nader isn’t a politician because he never got elected to ANYTHING, president, congress, city council student body president NOTHING…
I don’t trust his ass either he still one of the reasons we got Bush twice, how do you trust somebody who just jumps from their private life to wanting to be president. He did somethings in the 70′s but what has he done since and where does he get all this money to keep running for president…???
mccain has a neck like a turkey. even though i can’t vote, i hope obama cooks that motherfucker up for an early thanksgiving throwdown and invites all the vegans in the world too, just because.
also, is irami mccain’s thirsty piece of stuffing on the side?
why am i obsessed with food right now?
Ummm…can I just say ditto to Muse?
That’s not fair to Bradley, how about Ralph Bunche.
DITTO @ MUSE AND AMADEO
@Irami – “I’ll take my Tommie Smiths, Jim Browns, Jesse Jacksons, Jeremiah Wrights, and Papa Williams. Mostly I wish Obama had more Julian Bond in him and less Tom Bradley.” – Any of these people ever been elected to anything??
Sorry I will take Carol Mosely Braun, Maxine Waters, Keith McMillam, Jesse Jackson Jr. and Barack Obama. Even in the days of Malcolm X people loved Malcolm but they voted for Adam Clayton Powell.
@ ne where you been?
You can have Jesse Jackson Jr.
I see…Irami is Messy Jesse Jackson!
I have been in clinic here at the hospital. Our other nurse manager has been on vacation. Today she is baaaack!
You should watch Good Will Hunting. You’ll see yourself in the scene where the pseudo-intellectual in the bar scene gets his ass handed to him.
Our government needs Jesus or something because we going to hell in a handbasket…
lmaqoo he heard that we were talking about him on the blog and messy jesse had to come and try to punk us. AREN’T YOU TOO OLD FOR THIS?
No Irami. WE are going to put him in power. Not just white people. My sons and daughters will look up to Obama because he represents a possibility for black people to finally become equal to whites as citizens of this country.
How dare you bring in names of all these other men who have NOTHING to do will politics. Jordan didn’t have to endorse anyone because he isn’t a politician. Dude was a baller who sold shoes, cologne, and tighty-whiteys. That’s who he was and that’s how he acted. Same for Tiger Woods. He doesn’t know much about politics, so he sticks to his specialty. More power to him.
I won’t take Jackson or Wright, because everytime either of them opens his mouth *I* have to answer for it. I’ve gotta answer for it before all of my white friends, as well as anyone else comfortable enough to ask me an honest question. I’m tired of answering for them. I’m tired of being represented by crabs threatening to cut off other men’s testicles. Damn, tired.
oh yea if you are insecure why not stay, you know she aint leaving your ass.
Mccain is a cold hearted sap!
I love all the commentary today.
I do admit that a lot of my disgust has to do with the lust the black community has for Obama. The guy comes out for FISA and for expanding the death penalty to child molesters, and you all are still gone nuts for him. You remember that high school kid who was serving jail time for receiving a blow-job from another high school kid. You really want a law that could be leverage that kid on to death row? No one will press him.
“Obama stresses civic engagment and public service when he talks to some, and Math and Science when he talks to others. You can’t have it both ways.”
That right there is proof that Irami is on some bullshit. So when I’m lecturing in my Ethics class, I need to say the same thing I’d say in a class on African American religious history?
Bullshit. We all tailor our speech (political and otherwise) to our audience. For example, on SBPH, I feel free to use words like “idiot”, “fucktard”, “douchemonkey”, “retarded bastard” and the like–however, I dare not use those words in a class. See? Different venues. Different audiences.
And as to you saying that Obama is running like Jesus…what in retarded gay hell does that even fucking mean? The way I read it, it seems like you’re saying that you’re mad that Obama’s campaign has gotten very, very popular. Is that what you’re saying? Please clarify.
It also is very interesting how you’re giving McCain a pass on everything everyone brought up about his flip-flopping, his own (lack of) character and what-not, but you won’t hear a thing about Obama, preferring to endorse Ralph “Sour Grapes” Nader.
Something called the Hatch Act prevents me from commenting on political issues while I am at work, but I appreciate all the views and arguments presented.
Side note — Have we all come to the concensus that Tiger’s pretty much thrown in the towel on being in touch with his blackness?
I know this didn’t have sh*t to do with sh*t, but I just had to see if I was missing something.?!
—
Okay, back to Irami now…
“I do admit that a lot of my disgust has to do with the lust the black community has for Obama.”
Then you’re an idiot.
With such a law, juries will be less likely to convict perpetrators on the full molestation charge. That’s why there are degrees to the murder charge. Clearly if a case like that boy’s came up again, he wouldn’t be sent to death row anyway.
The real issue is this…why do people want to turn Obama into Al Sharpton and ensure that he is not elected. Don’t be a sucker and fall for sound bites. Look into what is actually going on. Especially when every state can make up their own minds about such laws. You need more people. He didn’t just say…FISA is good. Keep reading.
Irami *shaking my head* – Most of those “Romeo and Juliet” type statuatory rape cases are overlooked because, well it’s just two teenagers having fun, whatever. Everyone knows that boy went to jail because he’s Black and the girl who sucked him off is White. Try again.
Wait, Obama isnt Jesus? http://bp1.blogger.com/_l8xeX8k9lgo/SH9gUlwWQfI/AAAAAAAAEIw/3wdyCkyXI9g/s1600-h/10910.jpg
Shit!
WHY WOULDN’T A BLACK MAN RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT BE POPULAR?….I just can’t and won’t
knat:
you’re SOOOOOOOOO RIGHT!!!!!!
obama ca’t be jesus, he’s a muslim!!!!!….ask the people in West Vriginia….they know what i’m talking about.
Girl you dumb as rocks
just for the record, killling child molesters is too good for them they need to be tortured and then tossed to hell, @Irami
Lol @ Ne
@ b4prez – dave chappelle said that shit right, the asians can have tiger’s sorry ass.
@ B4Prez
Yeah…but I never liked how they wanted to push him out there to be a figurehead. Dude plays golf. “We” (used loosely) always want to put someone at the podium who isn’t ready and rip apart anyone who actually does want to speak.
“Tiger! Tiger! What do feel is the state of race relations in today’s world?”
“Um…I play golf.”
Funny cause I was watching Basquiat last night and during an interview a guy asked if he considers himself a black painter…dude hollers “Oh I paint in lots of colors not just black.”
chris, please ban irami my head hurts
FISA seems to be a comprimise and I doubt the kid who gets head from a another high school student will get the death penalty, he shouldn’t be in jail at all. With that being sad I personally don’t have any extra sympathy for child molestors if the case is open and shut then to hell with him. The death penalty in general I’m against solely because of inaccuracies within the system but not for reasons of sympathy.
Isnt Basquiat 1/2 PR?
Irami, may I ask what your ethnicity is? I’m trying to understand your rationale for supporting both McCain and Nader when they are polar opposites of each other. You sound confused and jealous that Obama has garner so much support from AMERICANS in general. If Obama was only liked by Blacks then he would not have gotten the nomination. Something to think abut.
Also where is the Jesus reference coming from? Does that fact that Obama is a decent guy who doesn’t cheat on his wife, doesn’t lie, and has a great education bother you so much? Is it a shock to your system at a politican can be a decent human being who happens to be Black?
Chris don’t ban Irami. Everyone needs to realize that there are millions of ignorant people in this country who would use backwards logic to place their vote. Being aware of the ignorance will help fight it.
“Clearly if a case like that boy’s came up again, he wouldn’t be sent to death row anyway.”
Clearly. I thought it would be clear that he shouldn’t have been in jail to begin with.
“And as to you saying that Obama is running like Jesus…what in retarded gay hell does that even fucking mean? The way I read it, it seems like you’re saying that you’re mad that Obama’s campaign has gotten very, very popular. Is that what you’re saying? Please clarify.”
He is trying to be trancendent, all things to all people, candidate, and it’s working because he isn’t asking anyone to give up anything. Liberal whites like him because he doesn’t make them free bad about their white flight, blacks like him because he is black, and immigrants like him because he proves the American dream, if you grow-up and pander to whites, you can be elected President.
what’s pissing me off is that everyone CLAIMS blacks place too much emphasis on race…. but since this race, it seems that that’s all everyone ELSE can think about ….
@ Ayo
Didn’t seem to matter to anyone else.
Irmani… Fall back, ock.
Your just said you dont like Obama because everyone else does. That is some juvenile shit. Grow up and try again tomorrow. Its been real. And by that I mean interesting and not fun. I mean I havent wanted to slap a b*tch since Joel Then was around. Fun times.
Basquiat’s mom is Puerto Rican.
But seriously, the Marcus Dixon case always upset me. Though his conviction was overturned and he’s a player of my team’s arch-nemesis, that girl LIED about being raped. Rosewood, anyone? She should go to jail. He was 18 at the time, and was almost 16. The Court should have used common sense. But if you’re Black, everything is down by the book, to the letter. Right?
As much I would love for Obama to be elected, I agree with an earlier poster that people are all smiles now, but it might be a different story behind the curtains come November. People would rather vote for Bush III than a black man. Even my relatives in America anticipate the election of McCain purely for that reason and they’re black. I mean if this was a “who has the cutest chubbiest-wubbiest cheeks?” contest, I wouldn’t dare doubt McCain.
I’m not familiar with the social climate in the United States, so I could be wrong…
Please someone restore my faith in humanity!!??
*and she was almost 16
p.s. i hate when people say black people use race too much… it was pretty fucking convenient when white people used that shit for slavery/colonialism/jim crow but when we flip the script and question those social assumptions, shit’s too close for comfort? my ancestors and my continuing hardships and difficulties do not compare to a white person feeling awkward for their skin colour for 5 minutes.
@puff and amadeo – Okay, I was just making sure I wasn’t alone. And that’s true about dude just playing golf…let him hang out with his YT homies…he just better not go thru W. Virginia with them. I just hate to see blacks rally behind some1 who, at the end of the day, doesn’t really care for you to rally behind him.
@ puff
post-traumatic slave syndrome….shit’sreal.
people should just say: I’m sacred as shit for a black man to run the country because we (the country) fucked over black people for so long, i’m scared that there may be retaliation…JUST SAY THAT SHIT!!!!!!!
Irami – what kind of logic is that? He’s too transcendent? He’s running for President, Leader Of the World, Most Likely to Succeed, Commander In Chief. He’s supposed to appeal to everyone. You’re a ree ree.
And why do we keep promoting this notion that folks are all smiles? Am I just that damn optimistic? Negative thoughts/energy = negative action, so if everyone thinks Obama won’t be elected, then he won’t. Not naivete, just saying.
By the way pandering isn’t a bad word, it is simply trying to appeal to a group of people and who is going to be elected president to a majority white country without appealing to white people.
oops… this like works

“Your just said you dont like Obama because everyone else does.”
It’s the unconditional adoration of the people followed by the lack of sacrifice warrant that worries me. I’m trying to figure out if it is going to end up with false promises or a swelled deficit, with a larger race/class division to boot.

Irmani… are you afraid white people are going to like you if Barak doesnt get elected? Is that the point?
*sigh*
OT: I should be up in the DC urrea for Labor Day Weekend! We ought to have another Hater’s Ball so I can grace the DMV with my presence.
Any suggestions on things to do, clubs to hit up, etc.?
Sacrifice like…
Community service
better gas mileage
repealing Bush tax cuts
cutting spending in some areas
adn not bombing any country that looks at us sideways
If you’re worried by the unconditional adoration for Obama, you should likewise be worried about that for McCain. Honestly, I am worried about this same issue because I’m seeing it come from you. I don’t think any of the people on this forum would vote for Obama unconditionally. But as with any candidate, the voters have to decide which faults to overlook and which ones are back-breakers. No one believes Obama is the second-coming. I’m just looking for the best (and capable) human being to run the country. So far, McCain is losing that battle with me.
Ummm…every democrat asks for more sacrifice then Republicans. Republicans run on this fact its: “They will raise your taxes!!!”
Meanwhile the Repubs promise cuts that only affect large companies and rich people.
NEXT!!!

*Correction in my post: Al Sharpton, and not Jesse Jackson. Don’t hold me accountable for being politically correct when I’m dealing with fucktards at my school.
I must say, I’m suprised so many people responded to the nonsense that was shared today. I would like Irmani to give me back the last hour.5 of my life that was wasted in a direct result to reading her posts, though many of the rebuttals were valid and hiliarious….
My apologies for misspelling Irami.
“Community service

repealing Bush tax cuts

I was thinking more along the lines of “supporting public education means sending your kids to and working with your local public school,” “Move back to the city and closer to work, to ease congestion, consumption and pollution,” and telling Americans that being a superpower is not merely a matter of economic power, but a matter of moral concern, even if it means that we should, “we should make room for the second place trophy.”

Chaoticdiva, try the Fiery Hiebanero (or however it’s spelled)….they are great.
The man is as dumb as a bag of rice.
Im keeping the rest of my comments to myself.
I think folks responded to Irami because you can’t ignore ignorance all the time…
@ Irami…sadly, trying to convince a materialistic country to become a minimalistic country is damn near impossible.
@ Shavonne
First Thursday Free concert is next week.
Yeah, I’ve actually been doing work today. If this happens everyday, I might actually be productive in this muthafucka…
Okay, as many times as I’ve been to DC before, I’ve NEVER been to Ben’s Chili Bowl! I’m going this time, and getting the Half-Smoke like I’m a native and shit.
@ Irami…people are moving back to the cities. See: gentrification.
Damn, a circumcision with no anesthesia would be more fun than trying to reason with this clown…
I concur, Rev. *bored*
So… anybody seen Nelly in the Sean John campain? http://necolebitchie.com/2008/07/29/nelly-in-some-drawls/
Now thats worth talking about!
…tries not to get excited.
*in a shaky professional voice*
Yea..um, the photos…yea…they’re ok…
Puffy is gay and Nelly becoming an underwear model for a gay man makes him suspect.
**no I’m not hatin**
@Rev
The chili fries are the bomb. Also don’t leave without swinging by Danny’s and getting some wings with mumbo sauce.
@ Omar…every male affiliated with puffy is questionable. And for the record…Nelly was not attractive to me…he still isn’t (grills look gross in mouths)…but he does have a body and I cannot deny that factoid.
Ok, here’s a subject change: guys, if you have hot bodies, post photos! Who is sexiest?
Again, the ladies of sbph will be the judges….
Yea, I thought I was the only one forced to work in order to stop seeing “Irami”.
I know we’re past 100 comments…so, how about those Yankees???…
Bajan Girl got upset and started speaking…Bajan.
fuck puffy (talkin bout vote or die)- nicca had me votin and shit -now the govnt done got my real name and shit… i went to vote it looked like they wuz hiring in that motherfucker..
fuck puffy =)
Nelly has never been on the gaydar. Plus his body is like whoa. Puffy probably copulates with puppies and has more kids than out of wedlock than necessary.
Topic: Should Erykah be given a pass on her 3 baby daddies, Puffy and his 3 babies Mommas? Discuss
I don’t necessarily think Puffy’s gay, but I do hate him….as for Nelly, he’s just getting that check…cus no1, I repeat NO ONE, is checking for Nelly music in 2008.
Can we get some bikini shot’s on here? You’ll outnumber the brothas on here anyway.
LMAOOOOO! @ BG:
“But wait.. wah gine on hey! *Gives Shabooty evil eye for use of the word ‘nicca’*
Nelly looks dirty to me and always has. He has a nice body, but so do half the men in prison. How are the two related? I wouldn’t want to fuck either of them.
@ Ayo
DEAD
I don’t take body shots…why give away what I can sell?
I fully support B4Prez’s suggestion.
If you can pay for the babies (and you do) you get a pass.
My skin is soft as a babies ass as well…which is why I can’t shave
Puff’s pass get’s revoked for being a down-low brother…
Did you guys hear about ‘The Diddy’ putting a tranny on his show? *wonders to self if that was a win-win thing for him* http://theybf.com/2008/07/26/diddy-showcases-the-first-black-transvestite-on-reality-tv/
Puffy doesn’t get a pass ’cause he a grown man asking to be called “Puffy”….
Gayman…. *smh*
I like transvestites.
hehehehehehehe!
Oh yeah, I saw the promos for “I Wanna Work for Diddy”. FUCK HIM, and FUCK WORKING FOR HIM. I work to live, not the other way around.
I don’t know. Three different dads, Erykah Badu? Grown woman or not, doesn’t work for me. We all make different choices, so I can’t judge too harshly.
Puffy/P.Diddy is a jerk. Full stop. And Kim Porter is an idiot.
The DOC is from South Dallas as is Erykah, and Erykah is Oak Cliff to da bone, so, hey, there you go.
Erykah’s a vegan, too.
Speaking of the devil…Is Puffy doing his youth political action thing again this election cycle?
I used to live in Miami Beach, and one of the funniest things I ever saw was a 85 year old white man wearing a “Vote or Die” t-shirt to a city council meeting.
But wait.. wah gine on hey!
LMAO!!!!!!
@ ST
Yeah Nelly gets a pass…unless someone held her down while he did it. I wouldn’t wear a gimp suit but if a woman get’s another dude to I can’t fault her.
Um, yea. Now I want chili cheese fries….
*drives to coney island*
Me too. Transvestites tend to be a lot of fun.
Does Nelly get a pass for RUNNING A CREDIT CARD THROUGH A BLACK WOMANS ASS in the Tip Drill video?
Kinda. She let him. And she accepted Discover.
Hmmmm, Puff/Sean/Dippity Do Fucker sure hasn’t had the “Vote or Die” T-Shirts out this year. Maybe Fonzworth told him that it was a bad idea in bed one day before he got up to cook him breakfast after a night of passion…Ol’ rippin every damn rapper off, sold-Shyne-Out-riding-Biggie’s-Coattails-had-Craig-mack-working-at-a-gas-station-cause-he-ripped-his-ugly-ass-off-lookin-ass-nigga. What’s fun about trannies? Just curious.
(comment from above link)
“the loss of your virginity is revoked”
I fault BET for showing the Nelly video but aside from that it was supposed to be X-rated and it was. Not really crazier than other x-rated stuff… so I’ve heard…
Forget Puff and Erykah what about Eddie Murphy.

@Knatural:
Dang, not even Diners Club?
When Tracey Edmonds broke it off with Eddie, you know Johnny Gill called her up and sang “He’s Mine” by Mokenstef…
@ omar and all of that while being gay – shiiiiiiiit eddie takes the cake
Thank you Ayo. *closes office door*
hahahahahahahahahaha i love you rev
@ ayo – far more T than A in my humble opinion…
I guess I should say that I’ve only hung out with them during official events such as drag bingo during Proud to Be Out Week and the lot. In college I helped a couple trannies apply make-up before drag bingo performances–being backstage was always a blast. Also, being at events like that, even the people who aren’t actively participating (i.e.: dressed up) tend to let down their guard and have a good time. Thus, for me, trannies = fun. Did you know that there are special rules regarding proper tranny make-up application?
Can TI even vote isn’t he a convict??
ROTFLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!@ Omar
Ayo is my friend.
I’ve never chilled with a tranny. I really like gay men tho, esp those who are out. Because the ones who arent out are frustrated, and thus act like as ass all the time. See: P. Diddy.
Heres proof we can all have ass-pirations:
http://www.thethinkmovement.com/
groooooooooooooosss. yuck. and no thanks.
I don’t know queen2b you might want to search the gossip blogs.
1. Diddy is gay.
2. Mase is gay.
3. Nelly is straight, but likes white girls.
4. Tevin Campbell is confused.
…um yea…I’m not outing anybody else. But its not like y’all didn’t know that stuff in the first place. lol.
By the way, I want RuPaul to be my best friend.
I swear, the LGBT community are the coolest people I know. Man, when black caucus was dealing with the 2520′s at MSU, they were the first group to back us up. (mind you, this was per/dorm groups, not campus wide).
Lol@ Tevin Campbell. Taking it WAY back.
I don’t know queen2b you might want to search the gossip blogs.
LOLOLOL @ ne!!
Ne…get on facebook!!! I need some mob wars help!!!
By the way, am I late on the whole Lindsey Lohan being a lez thing?
Is Laverne Cox her/his real name or a drag queen porno name ’cause ur uh… cocks… yeah uh… nehmind.
Kanye has ‘Puffy’ tendencies…
He talked homophbia in hip hop before but wasn’t conscious enough to not call women “mutts” maybe he sticks up for his own.
At least Eddie was single when he did his tranny thing, Puffy has been “gay with girlfriends” for too damn long…
…I also heard Jaime Foxx hops the fence when he’s not messing with big girls…
I love the LGBT community. I took a gay and lesbian lives class and I learned ALOT. However, at Temple the Admin wanted to combine the LGBT and AAS departments into one department because ‘both groups has similar struggles’. I’ll admit, after learning what it was like to be gay/lesbian/asexual in this country in the 40′s, I understand. But I dont think its right to ‘equate’ struggles and oppression of people in this country.
I didnt know Lindsay Lohan was a muffdiver…
@ Vanita, its like my campus putting latino student assoc, naacp, native american student assoc, black student union, and muslim student assoc all in the same room.
By the way fuck lsa, they actually piss me off more than the naacp.
ChaoticDiva…cursing out butt fuckers since last night…
Nelly is not into white girls, Diva….!
Team Tang — Puffy, Johnny Gill, Kanye, Will Smith, Eddie Murphy?
I am on facebook divaaaaaaa
Will Smith ain’t gay dammit… He may be into swinging but he ain’t gay.
@ ayo…him and 50…
Nelly was at one point into a couple different young white actresses. 50 has admitted the same thing.
However, neither of them are exclusively into white girls…right now Nelly is definitely enjoying his chick with the sideburns (see: Ashanti).
don’t say that about kanye
I know puff gets with the butt!
lmao @ “puff gets with the butt”
I <3 Kanye.
Kanye is a midget. But he’s definitely not gay. Kanye likes models too much. He’s not quite as pervy at Pharrell, but still…’Ye likes pussy.
@CD – Umm gay guys don’t like to be around models, surely you jest…
ne…i dont see you….
You know what?
None of them (team tang) would make good tranny’s…. mayyyybe Will Smith. I bet he likes silk and wears Jada’s fishnets. I bet he even greases her scalp with Carol’s Daughter products. His lips always look so soft. I think he wears MAC’s lip glass. But, you know, thats just me.
@ Omar…gays want to be models. Kanye likes to sneak into dressing rooms in hopes of getting quick pussy. Trust, he has a reputation for doing that shit.
@ ayo…leave Will Smith alone…he’s been good to the black community, unlike Diddy, the in the closet republican who will probably be voting McCain this fall.
Clearly none of you have heard of ‘milking a prostate’. And if you have money and power, why wouldnt you get it up the butt? esp if no one has to know???
R. Kelly did urinate on that girlMoney and power leads to the kinkest sex you can and want to have.CD – stop frontin – you know you can see Will in some fishnets.
Yea I know ye like the twat. But he isn’t that short. I think he may be 5’10″
@ ayo…thats besides the point. But damn, I’m not going to hate on the one black man in hollywood who is actually being a parent and a good rolemodel (minus the swinger thing)…
@ vanita…lmao! That must be superhead’s philosophy….
@ ne…he’s 5’7….
Kanye is crazy.
we still have blair underwood and boris kodjoe and ….. *lost*
MORRIS CHESTNUT!!!!
he reminds me of my brother… doesnt do anything for me. Is he a good daddy?
sorry…chocolate men do something to me…
…so do pretty eyes…like Michael Ealy.
…I also like nerdy guys, like Lupe…
…don’t get me started on guys….ugh! (obviously, this is why lesbianism never worked out for me)
lol i had on flip flops when i met him. I’m 5’1″ so I thought he was taller lmaooooooo
@ Diva LMAO!!!! I can see that…and I can see people payin money to have sex with her too. I cant believe men pay for sex…
aww, ne…
well, I mean, a guy is good for you as long as he’s taller than you when you wear heels (make him feel manly)…guess thats why i’ve never had a latin lover…lmao
I loooveee love loooove Common!
@ vanita…me either. I’m sure there’s some girl out there with low enough self esteem that would give up the nookie because nobody would sleep with her either…
I freaking love Lupe with his funny but cute looking intelligent misunderstood ill lyrics having short lil self.
Eddie Murphy, definately, Johnny Gill and Puffy, maybe. Will Smith and Kanye West, most definately NOT.
Common’s body is on point. AAAAAAAmen. AAAAAAAAAAmen.
and you know who else I was suprised about? Q-Tip.
Tyler Perry=Gay.
How the hell could I forget about Tiffany Perry?
lmao @ lesbianism. I could never date a female because IM a bitch. if she was a bitch too we’d fight physically. But I find myself always lookin at *people* on the train who I feel are very attractive and they always turn out to be females
I could never date a female cause I don’t eat pussy!
@ Q-Tip…why the hell was he dating Nicole Kidman.
At this point…I’m going to not comment on him anymore.
But yes, Common is sexy.
Um yea, Reggie Bush is fine, despite all of his diseases he got from groupies like Kim Kardashian. And Chad Johnson is sexy w/o a grill…he has this 90% naked pict in espn mag that is effing sexy…
…but he wears a grill over his pretty smile, and both of them are football players, making them undateable to me.
Besides, I would be too tempted to get mad at them based on sports rivalries (I have so done it before…).
Tyler Perry farts unicorns and glitter. Delusional ‘saved’ women get all mad at me when I say that, b/c they think that TP is going to marry them and shit.
Rumor has it that he was known back in the day to go around Piedmont Park here in Atlanta cruising for guys, so take with that what you will.
There have also been rumors about Eddie Long being on the DL. Explains his homophobic ass sermons and shit…Ol self-hatin muscle shirt wearin in the sanctuary mu’fucka.
@ vanita…i think all of us as females have girl crushes on hotties…but thats why we hook them up with our male friends because trust, females are pretty, but dick feels better. lmao!!!
LMAO @ ne!! She and I wouldnt even make it to that point because we’d be to busy whoopin each others ass.
…besides, if i were a lesbian, I’d make the girl i’m fucking wear a ll cool j mask and a strap on to bed…
…and she better not have big boobs either….
@ rev…after this past weekend’s experience, i realize that 99.9% of Atlanta men are gay or dl…
…I wanted to cry. Its like being Amy Winehouse and being forced to stare at a hologram of a crack pipe.
HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LMFAO….
“Tyler Perry farts unicorns and glitter. Delusional ’saved’ women get all mad at me when I say that, b/c they think that TP is going to marry them and shit.

@chaotic:
It really depends where in ATL you are. Basically, the closer you are to Midtown/Downtown, they gayer it is.
FWIW, there are a lot of lesbians here too.
…I was all over. My hotel was by/in Decatur, and well, there was a fight among a group of gays outside my hotel…lmao…it was funny though.
Ok, here’s one that’s not blank
@ creative…I love you for that!!!
Did you see the snl thing with McCain as the creepy husband? It fits with the photo so well:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=wAE_NXbdBy8
Yeah so he probably just lost the entire minority vote.
“There have also been rumors about Eddie Long being on the DL. Explains his homophobic ass sermons and shit…Ol self-hatin muscle shirt wearin in the sanctuary mu’fucka.”
Rev, tell. tha.
Period!)
@ Rev
Don’t forget / Poppa Diddy Pop
We outing ‘closet’ cases again? LOL. You know, I have been told (on a few occasions) that it would behoove me to seek the love I desire from Black men in the arms of gay Black men, who can provide much of what I want “minus the sex”. That leaves me, of couse, with only 1% of what I want from men in the first place! J/K.
I do love me a gay man though. Flaming queens to “What you mean you not straight”, we just get along like vodka and cranberry.
ST – I feel you. I think I’ve decided what I really want in life is to be the Beard to a fabulous, rich gay man. I can get the companionship, financial security and social benefits of marriage while still getting to have wild, slutty, single sex.
I have a problem with placing more blame on Nelly, than on the grown woman who decided that it was a good Idea to be seen on t.v. like that. Do I think that Nelly used the best judgement? No I dont but I also know that the woman who agreed to let herself be degraded in that manner needs to take responsibility for that. We as black women deal with a lot of negative press that we cant control but letting a ninja slide a credit card down your ass is not one of them.
Hmm. Maybe I need more gay friends, and by more I mean one, because I don’t get it.
Nelly is definitely to blame, but all participants in misogynistic videos are to blame, including the women.
Wait. Am I the only woman here with no gay friends? Is that normal? Oh crap.
LOL wasnt his nam Gangstalicious? The boondocks are my guilty pleasure….sometimes he definitely takes it to far but that shit is funny!
@ Shay – yes ma’am
@ riz..lmao!!! “I got that thuggin love…”
“she had Black instincts”.
DEAD.
mos def was tooo funny as gangstalicious!!!
Riley: Where’s the gun?
Ganstalicious: I dropped it back there…
Riley: You dropped the gun?!? That’s not gangsta…
sista toljas all gassed cause she in the header graphic
=)
jk
So, misogyny is just a concept Black women are unfamiliar with? No one is saying that the woman is not blame worthy. But the idea that Nelly should be exonerated from blame just because is disgusting. At the end of the day, the girls in that video are nameless, faceless whores and Nelly is a superstar. And apparently, this is okay.
Black In America!
Shabooty- You don’t know what I had to do to get up there. *Wink, wink*
Ok, fine. I sent Chris money.
“It was like I was using psychology…. but in reverse.”
@Jo: The chick was OUT! She paused, stopped typing, looked around and was halfway to the door before the Black girl in front of me could climb under the table. She gets the Hood Award of todays Bar exam.
@ Shay- You’re right, it *was* gangstalicious!
“Thug love” is when you’re “together with a lady, and right before she hits that special moment, you hit her over the head and take her purse!”
(or something like that).
I am not willing to give these women a pass by allowing them to take the victim’s role.
lmao @ riz.
Everybody, I am fearing sleep due to a huge black spider roaming around in my room that I couldn’t catch with my vacuum.
…maybe I’ll just send my cat to find it.
I was like, “Ah HAYLL nah, they not taking away MY 4 minutes!!”
lol…
Hey, has anybody heard of Mutya Buena? The girl can SANG…well, at least in the studio…
http://youtube.com/watch?v=-GC-4XUjM8M&feature=related
I actually started that battle w/ my facebook group.
i lived in phoenix, az for 14 years…the only reason why there is a mlk holiday is because the state would have lost the superbowl bid and thus lost tourism dollars wich means mccain would have lost dollars…simple as that…
Ok, so instead of arguing about it, we need to boycott video hoes.
I totally agree Chaotic, I cant control the actions of others but I can make sure that I carry myself and teach my daughter how and what a “real woman” is.
and on that note I am out! see you tomorrow
Well, at least the First Black Disney Princess isn’t a video hoe… But I’m pretty sure that Disney consulted BET when they came up with this winner.
Does it make it better if you show it equally to men and women? lol
Bunk Disney! Happily Ever After was where it was at!
I really haven’t been into Disney since Peabo Bryson killed it on “A Whole New World.”
But man, as Obama gets closer to the Presidency, I’m just waiting for the 2520s to dip into their old bag of tricks and debunk us. They’ve been doing it for 200 years.
@ Doc… I agree!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LibK0SCpIkk&feature=related
…fucking Disney…however, I can’t tell if the asian stereotypes or the black ones are worse…
@ The Disney Black Princess, thanks, but no thanks. They can stick with Snow White and Cinderella for all I care.
I wonder if Tiana is Creole…
She might not be Creole, but she may claim to be-on her mothers side of the family.
mutya buena was a member of the uk group sugar babes
i like them… i like pop esp tongue in cheek
Oh lord, make it stop ….. Look, everyone!! A suggestion: go and take some of the time you waste doing shit and volunteer for both/either campaigns.
If not, I wish your citizenship could be revoked and that you would have to spend the next four years in watching Karl Rove get blowies from Katherine Harris. The end.
p.s. Politics evidently makes me angry enough to lose my spelling and grammar.
@ pam…yea…but she’s not as pop-esque like the group. She’s got more of an r&b thing going on…I mean there are a few sugababe-like tracks, but for the most part, I like the album.
I’ve been trying to think of another place I would live and I can’t come up with anything…Cali is nice but, wild fires and earthquakes don’t match my wardrobe.
I’m not trying to be snowed in every winter.
Hurricanes suck.
New York has too many people.
Everywhere else is either corn fields or gun shots.
Amadeo: thought about New Mexico? Just a suggestion.
I loved Happily Ever After! Disney *sigh* and their Black American Princess…it’s too little, too late.
new mexico is freaky things breeding ground – all of the grimy horror movies take place in that state. no sir, when i do my cross-country trip i’m going to bypass that state like it’s the sex pox
What’s the black people ratio?
I used to want to move to New Orleans…but only cause of all the classic homes.
@ disney – africa only has lions, baboons and hyenas? booooooooooo why does the only royalty we get have to be an animal?
i kid, i really do love the lion king.
“oh i just can’t wait to be kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!”
*hides in shame*
Lol@ sex pox. Puff, if you’re coming from the east coast there’s no point in even stopping in NM. DC to Vegas is about a 3.5 day drive (with nightly stops) and that last half a day is all it takes to get from the eastern side of NM to Sin City. Trust, I have done this multiple times in my life–I like NM, but I’ve never stayed there for an extended period.
Knat… I dont have any gay male friends, so dont feel bad. I did, however, have a gay student. And he was gay like She-ne-ne from martin, man looking but wore sparkley blazers, carried a purse and had a fade. Sometimes he wore weave in blond or red. and glitter belts.
Amadeo: In 2006, Blacks 2.5%, Whites 84.6% (http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/35000.html). That’s a little scary in itself.
Aside: did anyone else hear that Congress is officially apologizing for slavery? Thoughts? Does anyone else not really give a shit?
Speaking of gay…wtf is up with these young chicks trying hard to look and act like the most ignorant thugged out dudes they can? Messes with my head when a chick has an extra schmedium sports bra and her damn ass out (because her pants are sagging)…meanwhile she mugging me cause she’s not sure if I’m looking at her girl or not.
Yeah. Tom Harkin was in the mix.
I dont get the whole look like a gangsta man thing for the girls. its actually frightening. and why the braids???
snoop from the wire… shit. she has marlo looking like a girl, with his big pretty eyes and all. if that chick came towards me in an alley, i’d shoot myself before she got to me.
@Amadeo – and even worse, why do both Butch Girl and her Wack Guy Friend post up in the club giving me the eye…like come one, you HAVE to be interested in one of us. Am I the only one this happens to like ALL the time? Ugh…dude, just because I don’t like you doesn’t mean I’m gay…and “chick” just because I looked at you for longer than .5 seconds doesn’t mean I’m interested in trying…I was honestly just trying to figure out if you’re a man or not.
The guy that proposed apologizing for slavery is a white guy in a majority black district in Tennessee who will be running against a black person for his job.
Ulterior motive anyone…
@ Puff…why is my cross-dressing/tranny radar sooo much more efficient in detecting men dressed as women than the other way around? Maybe it’s just exposure (this whole butch women thing is still relatively new to me). I swear I took me like 7 episodes to figure out Snoop was a woman. My friends still laugh at me for that.
OMG Doc…! I think I look extra hard, because you just never know anymore… and I think they think its interest. I mean do what you do, but are you a chick or not????
For real! Ulterior motive, not even well-hidden. And if Congress apologized, what do we get? I want some prizes. I want the gov’t to pay off my mortgage and a lifetime supply of paid vacations. And free Hoilday dinners. And free cable sans Fox News and CMT.
@ Jo 2.5%…oh hell naw. I already get scared looks in a city that’s 65% black.
@ Knat
I have a plan that won’t scare all of white America…give me 1% of Phillip Morris’ profits…we picked tobacco as well.
And 1% of Cotton, Inc. profits, too!
We should all move to South Carolina and cede from the union…
I couldn’t care less one way or the other. I don’t need reparations–I just want to see the country make steps toward real equality.
Still, I’d settle for stock in Cotton, Inc. I don’t want any money from cancer-peddling, “who wants big babies anyway?” Phillip Morris.
Completely different
THANK YOU OMAR!
So, Amadaeo, the solution would be to do absolutely nothing? Nelly could still make shitty music rapping about sneakers and stuff without degrading women and promoting irresponsible behavior. And people had stopped listening to Master P BEFORE he got a brain.
You know how hard it is to find a good pair of jeans?
*ahahahahahha*
We say dont support AB, but support what instead – the gap? babyphat? forever 21? tracy reese? I remember when folks was running to by Polo, and then he dissed us? I mean… damn.
@ ST
Yes I said let’s do nothing.
Fuck Nader
If you are a grown man and werent parented, then you are young and dumb minded.
You should watch Good Will Hunting. You’ll see yourself in the scene where the pseudo-intellectual in the bar scene gets his ass handed to him.
This whole passage… I will change my vegetarian ways and eat a whole buffalo for you.
Huh, one “l”
He couldnt find a donor to match her and she died. He spent his own money for the campain and found bone marrow donors for a lot of other african american ppl in his quest to save his sister. After his family being impacted/suprised by the diagnosis, he was trying shine light on a little mentioned issue in the black community and maybe even save his sister in the process.
I used to be upset about the high gas prices until I joined Zipcar…
Seriously people, I’m not evil… You all probably think I’m going to vote for McCain or something, meanwhile I have made substantive contributions to the Obama campaign….
I’ll probably never be in your good graces, but I’m definitely not a McCain supporter…
What’s this in reference too, Supreme?
This no-editing is a pain.
oh Joel Then…! You’re back!
Irami: Supreme aka Joel Then got clowned for a previous statement(s) he made on another post, (kinda like you did yesterday but more curse words). Happy Hunting.
Who the hell is this Supreme dude? I’ve been gone entirely too long…
@ayo: regardless of what I said in the past post, I don’t want to be typecast as a person who is anti-black or something nonsensical like that… I also don’t want people to think of me as some right-wing republican asshole either….
Supreme,
Forget them. You can’t control how others view you, and it’s a small man who tries. For the record, I think of you as “that guy who likes his black girls white,” and there isn’t much you can do about it. Them is the breaks.
JOEL.. .
1st change your post name back. we know who you are. plus i refuse to call you supreme.
2nd we got over being mad at you after the post.
3rd only you can change your image.
4th you didnt get blocked, so you are welcome to your opinon.
5th nuff said.
@ayo: Fair enough…
I’m still not a republican though…
I rather someone wear Gap than Apple Bottoms, some tacky jeans made by a tacky nigga who hates Black women.
I HATE BEING BLACK IN AMERICA. I am succeeding from the rest of you people. My apartment is now the country of Toldonia, and you niggas are free to fuck, suck and spend yourselves in to your inevitable demise. Have fun.
Let me also say that I called her “Ho” in jest. But regardless, I will agree to disagree on this subject.
He must be in the beginning stages of dementia or some shit, because he is always changing what he says. His age is getting to him, quick fast and in a hurry.
And people actually want him to be our next president? What was the famous catch phrase in the last election….. flip-flopper?
