Bob not only are you lost but you evidently can’t read. He addressed that in the first and last paragraph for Christ’s sake. He also went on to show you how the history of violence in white people contributed to what is happening today and overshadows any statistics you like quoting. I know you are mad, but don’t let your ignorance reign over fundamentals as important as reading. So to ask why we are all criminals when your history spans the millenia with murder and mayhem is a poorly thought out question to say the least.

Way to go talking about stuff that nobody alive today did. Very valid argumentation there. Of course, you’ll have to forget that a certain 13% of the US population commits 80% of the violent crime. And that’s TODAY, “son.” Why are you all criminals? (Also, Arabs and Africans sold Africans into slavery. Good job on that one, too.)

That 2 million African Slave Trade deaths figure underestimates the violence of white people. I believe that figure represents the portion of enslaved Africans that died during the Middle Passage. If we consider seasoning the ending point of “trade,” then you have about 5.5 – 6 million dead Africans on your hands. And, personally, I would include any death caused by the murder/abuse of a first-generation enslaved African into my tally. I have no idea what that number would be, but considering that in the West Indies it was more profitable for slave owners to work a slave to death and then buy a new one than it was for them to keep a slave alive, I imagine that figure would be disastrously high.

And, no, I was not an AA Studies major. I went to professional school. My mama thought those liberal arts majors were a luxury for white people, too.

Slavery in African was the same as indentured servitude was in England.

At no time was the servant considered to be sub-human, in most cases they eventually married into the family.

And yes SOME African sold slaves just like some Jews worked with Nazis.

You rarely hear about the tribes that fought to the death or until they were defeated and became slaves themselves rather than sell out their people.

And the conquerors no longer control the information stream, this blog is proof of that.

I dont know why people seem to think that Africa was one big happy place, where everyone danced around and got along with each other…. If not a slave here, then maybe a slave there…who knows…

Here is some info…many of the first slaves that crossed were SOLD by AFRICANS for MONEY!!!

CONQUERORS always dominate the information stream! Some more than others…this happens without “race” as a factor…

Actually, the Macedonian Empire of Alexander helped set up some of the information we have today. Yes he fought and gained land by killing warriors and civilians alike, but it wasnt any different from the Aztecs in Mexico, at least he didnt use his captives as sacrafice to his gods.

There is a lot of misunderstanding when it comes to Alexander’s empire. The fact that he built libraries to maintain local information and cultural information often gets over-looked in the grand scheme of things. (AKA the Tower of Alexandria (which the Romans destroyed)) was a place where learned people could go to study.

At any rate, people are gonna believe what they are conditioned to believe as truth until it no longer makes sense for them…
