recently relocated to what may be the most racist location on Earth outside of Suncity South Africa. yup! good ol Australia. I can say that one of the few activities that I find comforting in my new city is shopping at there version of a “ghetto grocer”

2. If you went to the same Safeway that’s in my nieghborhood (and I think you did) you would understand why me and my girlfriend hop our asses on the bus and get food in another, nearby nieghborhood

Bobbles - yes. Live wherever you want, but not all of SE DC is considered ‘less expensive’. If you move to a predominantly Black neighborhood in DC, you will be looked at funny, because the residents will wonder if you’re a ’scout ant’.

Hi people,

I am a Caucasian male who has grown up in a very diverse neighborhood In Fairfax county. It is largely Hispanic and White, with strong Asian, African, and Indian influences as well.

I work in DC and have been thinking about moving there for a while. I do not have a high income or a lot of money saved, so moving to a less expensive, low income area is appealing to me, it is really my only option to move into the city any be independent.

I love all people and recognize that our bodies and minds are but possessions of our collective spirit.

I am trying to neutralize my carbon footprint and would like to be able to bike to work, I grow a large portion of my own food, and i have no chemical or psychological addictions. I try to be a positive member of my community where ever I am on Gods green earth.

My question is, should I move in to a less expensive region of SE DC?
